Today I went to Honda's showroom and wanted to test drive the Civic 2.0.
Unfortunately, there is only the 1.8 version available... So, here's how it goes.
The first gear, gives me a feeling of power of the car but when it changes to the second gear, it is so under power! After 12 seconds, it finally reach 100km/h and the sound in the car was terribly loud!
Finally, the 1.8 Civic and 2.0 Civic only have a price tag difference of around 15 grands. As for the 1.8 version, its lacks of many functions. For example, the head lamps, air bags, leather seats, paddle shift, CD changer and a few more...
Soon, I'll visit that particular show rooms again to try out the 2.0 Civic and the Type-R too! |

Why don't you consider Sonata? It is a good car. Value for money. |

Porsche, Ferrari, Lexus, Merc CLK cabriolet will be out of range. My suggestion is that you go for a more reliable sets of wheel.
I would go for Mazda, Toyota, Honda : Japanese cars are among the best.
Then there is as someone said here BMW. If you could get your son a BMW then l will settle for that. BMW - Best Man Win - always stands for class and exquisite taste.
He will be so proud driving behind the wheel.
But buying a car is not just about feeling good with the product but also ensure that there are good safety features added to it, again reliability, a car that can hold it's value and good shape. Also my wife says that make sure that his size s compatible with the car size. You dont want him to drive too big a car if he is 5' 5 nd similarly you will not want him to stuck in a Mazda MX5 if he is 5' 10".
The choice is ultimately yours and his.
Good luck and happy hunting.. |
