Petr Cech has set his sights on a return to action against Sunderland this weekend.

The Czech Republic international has missed the last four games with a calf injury.

However, Cech is back in training and he is hopeful of being available for the clash with Roy Keane's Sunderland.

"When you want to be back quickly you have to give 130 per cent and I am happy with the way I have progressed," said Cech.

"You always want to be on the pitch and playing. I have been training really hard to come back.

"I couldn't make it against West Ham last weekend but hope to play on Saturday."

Drogba Operation Sparks Chelsea Argument

Didier Drogba needs an operation on his knee, but the question of when to have it has caused a rift between the striker and Chelsea.
Didier Drogba has reportedly been involved in a row with club Chelsea over when he should have the knee operation he requires.
The striker wants to go under the knife as soon as possible, anxious to be fit in time to represent the Ivory Coast in the African Cup of Nations early next year.

Key Period
Chelsea, however, are already conscious of losing the big forward for some time, and would prefer he delay the procedure and miss the international tournament instead.
The club has a heavy fixture schedule in the coming weeks, and are aware that Drogba's operation will set him back 5 weeks in recovery time.
However, the striker has reacted angrily to suggestions from the Blues' medical staff that he plays on with the aid of painkilling injections until January, when another striker - rumoured to be Bolton's Nicolas Anelka - can be drafted as cover.

Ivory Coast Come First
A close friend of Drogba's is reported to have told The Sun: "Didi understands the problem this potentially causes for the club but they have known for a long time about the African Nations Cup.
"He has a responsibility to his country and is captain of the team.  Didi is very passionate about playing for the Ivory Coast and does not want to let them down."
Should Drogba win the argument, Chelsea will have to do without the services of the striker for a total of two months.
