I was asked if I want to go for amniocentesis, I wanted to but babp budak say no need. Dia tanya balik, what would I do if I get the results? He also said, whatever it is, its ours.
Shinky, biarlah rambut je yg degil.. bukan orangnya. Risau juga kan ada anak perempuan. You risau tak? Baby je lagi.. macam macam dah saya pikir. .. |

I buat that test Tiling -- my emak marah sangat sebab mcm your hubby lah ,, what will I do kalau result nya negetive. Nak gugur or teruskan sebab test ni masa kita dah 4 mths. Masa tu saya fikir kalau dia tak normal kesian pulak dibuli dan mcm mcm lagi lah. Kalau gugur nanti Tuhan balas tak dpt anak baru tau .. mcm mcm lah. Satu lagi test ni boleh menyebabkan keguguran. So before the test saya tanya doktor tu berapa yang dah keguguran. Dia ckp 1 in a thousand.
Lepas buat test -- lepas dpt result -- legaaaaaaaa!! Syukurlah baby tak ada tanda tanda yang tak diingini. |

That磗 the thing, we can do all the test in the world to determine the condition of the baby BUT the question is who are we to decide if its going to live or die.  |

My kawan masa dia buat test tu doktor kata anak dia tak normal -- tapi dia teruskan. Masa dia 6mths preg -- baby terpaksa dikeluarkan. Banyak lah kena operation. Sampai satu stage doktor kata dia punya baby ni akan jadi terencat akal. So nak continue the life support or not. Sebab dia orang ni free thinker -- husband dia ckp dkt doktor kalau you pasti dia terencat akal -- cabutlah.
Tapi wife dia call another specialist - specialist itu kata baby tu normal sebab she can move her hand, dengar suara orang etc etc. Sekarang baby tu dah almost 1 -- kena pakai spec sebab mata dia tu tak normal. |

so you opted for elective section la ehh?
I'm the opposite, kalau boleh aku takmo elective section or even crash/emergency section unless medically necessary of course..
eeeeeekkkkkkk the thoughts of my collegue having a rummage in my tummy  sebab tu I opted to go to midwife led birthing unit heheheh plus I am hoping for a waterbirth |

Aiman was really difficult baby to look after, very high need, still is!!
Harapnya adik nanti senang sikit nak jaga, we envisage nanti adik yg kena ngalah ngn abg in terms of quality times with us etc..
I'm scared of sibling rivalry huuu huuu.. |

yeah..this has been going through my mind a lot too
esp for the last 9 months I've been doing combination obstetrics and paeds run
ada sekali tu waktu early on in my pregnancy, I had to examine a spontaneously aborted 19/40 anencephalic fetus (head not fully formed), VERY detailed examination in order to fill in post mortem form.... sedih sgt..lepas tu kena examine lots of medically aborted fetuses, normally they came after amnio la... ehh sedey laaa, parents normally opted not to see the fetuses, so kitorang la kena uruskan
bila buat paeds plak, we see sooooo many kids with chronic illnesses, makes me scared to have lots of children, some of these kids are really traumatised by hospitals esp those who need weekly bloods/transfusions etc
Imagine a 1-2 yr old with 13 volumes of notes, tebal2 pulak tu..they spent more than 1/2 their life in hosp
That's why when people ask, nak boy or girl, I thought yes it would be lovely to have a girl, so I'll have one of each, but when I see all these kids, I really really thought and mean it when I said, asalkan sihat dah cukup sifat, Alhamdullilah

My midwife kept on telling me that the baby knows when exactly to come. I am just glad to be living in a country where they have midwifes who are highly trained and obstetrician who doesn't quickly jump on knives and scissors.
I had acupunctures during labour, I felt as if I had pethidine. The midwife was there with me and husband almost all the time, not pushy and always offering assistance. I stand and walked all the time in the room. I didn't want to have the baby lithotomy pos.. you see but..I climb up the bed last minute and gave birth inlateral position. I am so so glad that its over...

I think most boys macam tu. My boys were difficult. The oldest were more diffiuclt and he still is. Abang yg sulung is 3yrs older to the 2nd. HE was so happy when he saw his younger brother the first time.
Now abng no 2 pulak yg buli abang no 1. Abang no 1 more diplomatic, abang no 2 jenis attack and rule. |

I am so thankful to the almighty for giving us healthy children, what more can I ask for.
On the news few days ago, a women in India gave birth while using a toilet in a train. The baby fell right down out onto the railway track. Didn't know what exactly happened but 2 hrs later the baby was found still alive on the track. I think thats a miracle, God wanted her to survive. |
