Andrew Davies must wait to make his Stoke City Football Club debut.
The defender is yet to play for the Premier League side since his summer move from Southampton, after undergoing knee surgery before the start of the season.
Davies was closing on full fitness and was knocking on the door of the first team, but he has suffered another setback with news he requires a minor operation on his knee.
"He's taken a knock on the knee and is having a little operation on Monday," manager Tony Pulis told The Sentinel. "He played a reserve game last week and we hoped he would be up and running.
揃ut he's had this setback in training which is a blow for us."
