dik,aku dulu amik chemical engineering tp sepatah haram x de belajar chemistry dik oiiii....physics,physics,physics and maths je memanjang!

kalau sesape yg kata nak amik chemical enginering or petroleum engineering just becoz minat kimia,u guys are dead wrong.aku dulu pun amik chemical bcoz i thought i will get to learn a bit of chemistry tp aku ternyata salah!!yg ade berkaitan kimia hanyalah kite akan byk berurusan dgn chemical,tp bukannye belajar pun ni campur ni jd bahan kimia ape...tp calculation of fluid properties,pvt diagram,thermo,sumer2 tuh yg akan belajar dlm course chem eng nih mmg sumer physics...and A LOT of calculations involved.tergamam jugak aku mase first semester kat u dulu..mule2 rs mcm dh salah amik course sebab aku bukan minat sgt physics.. tp alhamdulillah,minat tuh dtg slowly lepas hbs first year..and now I guess I enjoy calculating/doing abstract thinking more than I enjoyed chemistry dulu..

experience aku as reservoir/petroleum engineer pun byk calculation..

kalau berminat nak keje O&G and berminat nak jadi engineer,make sure physics dgn maths ko bagus. minat x minat,tuh boleh dipupuk kendian.

geology mmg bagus....skang geology nih gaji lg besar dr engineer..itu pro nye..

cume yg kontra,geology susah nak naik mcm engineer..

Kalau kelulusan spvm tu, semua post dlm o&g hang boleh mintak, e.g. Director, Manager, Engineer, Inspector, rigger, helper, chef & even tukang cuci baju /toilet.
Samada diorang nak ambik ke tidak tu, up to them lah, u boleh mintak je.....

Biasanya apa2 kerja pun, diorang nak experience, kalau without experience normally gaji kecil sikit.

kalau kau minat gile kimia dan tak minat fizik dan math, aku sajes kau amik pure chemistry. kire chemistry science la. itu mmg betul2 kimia to the max. kalau dah name engineering, mmg fizik dgn math lerr jawabnye. nak wat mcm mane. fizik dgn math builds character. tak cayer tanyer la injinier injinier kat sini.

hmmm...ku tgk korang pny post sumer nak kene ader requirement enjineer n bidang2 yg berkenaan dlm offshore tuh.
ku pny bidang, masa blaja dulu dalam bidang pengurusan hartanah. tapi skrg keje ngan developer buat sales n marketing. korang raser2 klu ku mintak oil n gas company...bidang aper yg bersesuaian dgn degree n pengalamanku?

kalau ko rajin....ko leh belek2 website company2 dari mid east contohnya Ras Gas, Qatar Petroleum, Dolphin Energy....etc,

kat sana depa bukan je amik yang background technical/engineering...malah bidang lain pun adaaaaa.....cer try test mintak tgk?

risk engineer dlm bidang ape bro? kalau bidang finance, insurance and banking, risk engineer normally buat assessment regarding exposure level of particular asset to the accident or any mishap that could cost damage and loss.

kalau risk engineer oil n gas, aku tak sure sgt. job scope mcm loss prevention engineer kot. mcm HSE engineer. kene expert dlm HAZID/HAZOP analysis, accident investigation, LTI statistic and whatnot. aku rase la..

risk engineer nih lebih common dlm insurance kot. oil and gas designation lebih kpt loss prevention engineer or HSE engineer.
