The band YELLOW FRIED CHICKENz, fronted by GACKT, will release their first single on September 14th.
YELLOW FRIED CHICKENz is formed by YOU, Chachamaru and Takumi on guitars, U:zo on bass, Jon and GACKT on vocals, and LUNA SEA member Shinya on drums.
The single is titled THE END OF THE DAY and will be available in two editions, a regular CD-only edition, and a limited CD+DVD edition, although the content of this DVD has yet to be confirmed. The details of this single are still subject to change but further confirmation of the tracklists is expected nearer its release.
GACKT to Star in Live-Action Show of Sengoku Basara Game
Capcom's popular video game franchise Sengoku Basara will have its first live-action TV show entitled, "Sengoku Basara -Moonlight Party-" starting next month! The series was previously adapted into two anime series and a movie.
Actor/singer GACKT (Shiki, New Fist of the North Star) will star as Oda Nobunaga (right), Kento Hayashi (Arakawa Under the Bridge) as Date Masamune (center) and Kouhei Takeda (Hana Kimi, Kamen Rider Kiva) as Sanada Yukimura (left).
GACKT will contribute the ending theme song "Hakuro." The show will premiere on July 12 on MBS, and it will run every Thursday night at 1:25 a.m. (effectively early Friday morning).
