Claudia and Angelo search the entire place for Yna. Electrika could not help but snicker at them because she hid Yna in a different place. Claudia is so angry with Electrika for lying about Yna. Electrika explains she only did that because Claudia is acting so slowly. She plans that as soon as she got all of Amor's riches, then she would leave the dirty work to Claudia and that is to kill Amor and Yna. She assures some of Amor's riches would go to Claudia. Claudia does not trust Electrika. She would make sure to put Electrika in the grave with Amor and Yna.

The TMC employers are shocked finding Edelweiss' lewd photos with Chollo in the company's website. Just as when Eduardo is passing by he overhears them talking about the scandal. One comments that Edeleweiss is no doubt capable of doing such. They shut up when they see Eduardo coming. Eduardo feels humiliated.

Amor tells Jonathan about Elizabeth's request to put him under her custody and to make sure he finishes his studies. She hands the young man a sum. Jonathan does not accept it. All he wants is for his mother to have a decent burial.

Edelweiss welcomes Eduardo excitedly. Eduardo pushes her away. He demands to know if the man he saw in the internet with her is the reason why Edelweiss withdrew twenty million pesos from the bank and the suspicious phone calls she makes. Eduardo storms out of the house. Chammy could not believe her mother could do such a thing. Edelweiss opens up everything to Chammy. Chammy feels ashamed and calls her mother a whore. On the other hand, Eduardo goes straight to Amor and pours out all his hurts. He is already decided to leave Edelweiss for good. Amor pities Edelweiss. She has no choice but to admit to Eduardo that she knows something about what is happening. She explains the man is stalking Edelweiss and Edelweiss did not tell this to Eduardo because she is afraid he might leave her. The very next day Eduardo calls the board for a meeting. They discovered that somebody from the company gave away the access code of their server making it possible for it to get hacked. Eduardo wants the man traced and immediately fired. Back home, Eduardo does not want to have anything to do with Edelweiss or even see her face.

Yna does not want to eat. The guards worry that she could die of hunger so they call up their boss. Meanwhile, Electrika arrives and surprises Yna.

Amor misses Yna. She holds the bracelet and clenches it close to her heart.

Belen, Flerida and Kit visit Isko's grave. They notice someone has been visiting constantly visiting Isko because of the piles of flowers. In one of the cards is written, "Tata Isko, forgive me." Errol figures it could be Yna. Together with Angelo they all go back to the grave one day and finds Amor there.

Amor always visits Isko's grave because memories of the old man always come back to her. Belen bitterly tells Amor not to go there anymore. Amor is aware how Belen loathes her but still she promises not to stop looking for Yna. Suddenly Julieta arrives with a bouquet of flowers for Isko. It is her who has been offering flowers for Isko ever since. She begs Belen for forgiveness for all the shortcomings and ill treatments she caused them. Belen does not budge and Julieta understands it is not that easy. When it is time for her to go, Belen looks at Julieta and forgives her daughter-in-law for the sake of her son Caloy. Amor apologizes to Belen, too. This time Belen grows cold and leaves Amor down on her knees.

Julieta goes home with a light heart. She happily tells her lover, Benjie that Belen already forgave her. They both thank the Lord for the blessing. Benjie is about to finish the book about Claudia that he is writing. There's something mysterious in Claudia's personality that Benjie finds difficult to figure out. He and Julieta feel Simon could be Angelo's father.

Yna asks if Angelo is the reason why Electrika kidnapped her. Yna explains there is no need to take revenge because she and Angelo are siblings. Electrika does not care about Angelo anymore. She says her decision would all depend on Amor if she would let go of Yna or not. She hates Amor for not giving her all of James Powers' riches because Amor is keeping it for Yna. Yna raises her voice saying Amor's riches is least important to her compared to her family. Electrika is determined to pretend to be nice and sweet in front of Amor.

Lourdes receives good news from the jail warden. She is granted presidential pardon and is now free. She calls up Diego right away and says she is now ready to start a family with him. Seraphin is so happy to be with Lourdes again.

Coring hands Claudia documents from America proving that Electrika is still mentally ill. Electrika arrives and Claudia shows the papers to her. Electrika feels humiliated. Because of this Claudia demands that it would be best for the two of them if she would be the one in charge of all the moves for their plan on Amor and Yna. Electrika leaves the place screaming, "I'm not sick!"

If Yna does not appear next week, Amor would go public in the media that Yna is missing. Electrika mentions again that if only she and her mother were as rich as Amor then her mother would still be alive. Amor feels guilty about this. Betty Mae says she must not consider Electrika for the young lady seems corrupt.

During Eduardo's meeting, he suggests that they must ignore about the thing on Edelweiss and let it die a natural death.

Angelo feels Yna has been kidnapped and Electrika is behind it. He has a plan. He asks Errol to court Electrika so they could fish information where Yna is. Errol agrees to do it for the sake of Yna. Amor and Angelo have a confrontation.

Angelo blames Electrika for Yna's disappearance. Amor does not believe Electrika could do such a thing. Instead she blames Claudia. Angelo gets furious. He could not accept Amor's accusation about Claudia especially now that Claudia has only a few months to live.

Amor asks how Angelo could be sure that Claudia is really sick. Angelo says he heard it himself from the doctor.

Eman hands the rest of Pepito's letters and documents to Diego. A picture of Diego's ex-girlfriend, Thelma, is also included. Thelma became Diego's girlfriend when he finally accepted the truth Amor would never be his. Thelma disappeared and Diego supposes Claudia had her killed. When Lourdes came into the picture, Diego knew he found true love. He surprises Lourdes with an engagement ring and proposes marriage.

Amor keeps seeing Belen and asking for any information about Yna. Belen does not want to see Amor's face. She says Amor does not have to go to their house anymore because Angelo would be the one to inform her anything that would come up about Yna. Amor does not stop searching for Yna with the help of her people and the police force.

Jonathan is still grieving over his mother's death. He also worries about Lia's severe coughing. Lia coughs up blood but does not tell anyone about it. Claudia notices Lia's sudden decline of health and catches her vomiting. She assumes Lia is pregnant so they visit the doctor for check-up. Lia is not pregnant. The doctor suggests that Lia undergo series of tests including blood test. One evening the doctor calls up and wants to see them at her office first thing in the morning. Lia does not bring Claudia for bad news might stress her more. The doctor diagnosed Lia of having aplastic anemia, a blood disorder that is very critical. She needs bone marrow transplant and treatment is painful. She does not promise long life for Lia. Lia is devastated. She goes straight to church and hears the priest preach that death is just the beginning of life with God.
Eduardo and Edelweiss are still not in speaking terms. Edelweiss asks help from Amor. Amor advises to give Eduardo time and understanding because he is hurting too much.

Benjie and Julieta see Claudia's physician at the time when she gave birth to Angelo. Benjie believes the doctor knows something. The doctor refuses to give information and throws them out of his office. However Angelo is still not contented with the truth. He opens up to Amor about his feeling he and Yna are not siblings. Amor could read Angelo's mind that he thinks Eduardo is not his real father.

Errol and Electrika go out on a date. The evening is still young so he asks if they could have coffee in her place. Electrika says no but he insists. She suddenly finds Errol irritating and pushy. Back home Errol narrates to Angelo about what happened. He knows Electrika found him too aggressive. He realizes he must gain the lady's trust first for them to dig up info about Yna.

Yna is all tied-up, confined and surrounded by Electrika's guards. Electrika says Yna's freedom would all depend on Amor's decision if she would give Electrika all her riches or not. Yna does not care a bit about Amor's riches. All she wants is to be with her loved ones and live a simple life. Electrika commands Yna to do everything she orders in order to remain alive. With a gun pointing at Yna, she makes a phone call to Angelo.

Angelo begs Yna to go home so they could fix any problems that bother her. Angelo hears Yna crying. She just says how much she misses all of them. The next day Electrika hands Yna a paper and pen and commands her to write what she would say to Amor. When the letter reached Amor, it says that Yna does not need Amor's riches and love because she already has Belen for a mother and just wants a simple life. Amor is devastated.

Lia looks at her pictures with Jonathan. She does not know how to tell him about her condition. So Lia seeks Vinnie and confides to him. Lia does not want to tell her family about her illness especially Jonathan because she does not want them to worry. Jonathan notices Lia's loneliness. When he asks her why, Lia asserts it would be best if they cooled-off for the moment because she wants to spend time with her sick mother. Jonathan finds it unfair. He is willing to allow Lia to spend time with Claudia more than him as long as they do not end their relationship. Lia is already firm with her decision and advises Jonathan to find another girl.

Edelweiss unburdens her heart to Charisma through an overseas call in London. TMC is already losing advertisers because of the scandal in the internet. Charisma advises Edelweiss to still attend the advertisers' meeting and explain her side that she is innocent. When Edelweiss appeared, Eduardo feels humiliated and tells her to leave. The advertisers and the board, including Amor, feel awkward about the situation so the meeting is adjourned right away. Edelweiss pleads Eduardo to listen to her piece first but he refuses. Amor understands what Edelweiss is going through. She shouts at Eduardo not to ever repeat the same mistake he did to her when he accused her of having an affair with Diego and did not even bother to hear her explanation. Amor does not want another soul to suffer all because Eduardo did not listen.

During Amor's date with Electrika, she mentions about Yna's letter and how she is willing to let go of all her riches in exchange of her daughter's love. Amor wants to be free of James' curse that she would never be happy. She thinks the only way for this to happen is to give all of James' riches to his daughter, Electrika. Electrika happily shares the good news to Claudia. Claudia is not thrilled at all. She thinks Amor is not stupid enough to give up everything for Yna. She thinks the best move is to kill Yna. Claudia would make it appear that Yna is already dead to test Amor if she would really let go of her riches for the sake of her daughter.

Claudia is able to dig up from Electrika where she is hiding Yna. If she rescued Yna then she would be a hero in Angelo's eyes. One evening Claudia and Maximus sneak inside the place where Yna is locked-up. Maximus knocks the guard down. Yna could not believe her eyes when she sees the most unexpected person

Amor prays for Yna's safety and even for her abductors. She also seeks the media to help find Yna. General is one of those who sees Amor's plead on tv.

Diego talks to Eduardo into dividing their wealth among themselves since he is already going to start a family. Eduardo agrees. Diego requests for his birth certificate but the census does not hold his records. He searches in the office of his mother, Do馻 Benita.

Eman shows to Benjie some photographs of those people Claudia maltreated that Pepito left with him.

Claudia imposes she already hired men who would pose as Yna's kidnappers that would ask for ransom. Electrika has no choice but to follow Claudia. Claudia's hired men are foreign terrorists who are very dangerous.

Chammy is ashamed of her mother. The scandal about Edelweiss is written all over the newspapers. Edelweiss wants to face the media so she could clear her name. Eduardo thinks it is nonsense and would just trigger the humiliation they are undergoing.

Lia spends a lot of time with Jonathan. She asks him to write down all his wishes.

The terrorists call up Amor and let her talk to Yna. They demand for Amor's entire wealth in exchange of Yna to be deposited in six different bank accounts.

Jonathan notices large black-and-blue spots on Lia's arms. Lia just shoves the topic away. One of Jonathan's wishes is to sit on the shore with Lia. They waddle their legs in Lia's pool as if they are in the beach. They even see a falling star and make a wish.

Diego is bothered. When he found his birth certificate in his mother's office, the names of the parents written on it are people he has not heard of. He is puzzled that thinks he could be adopted.

Electrika reveals all her plans to Yna - that the men are hired to pose as an international syndicate who wants Amor's money, but in truth, it is her who is after the wealth. She also mentions that she is doing all this for her mother because if it were not for Amor her mother would not have died of poverty. Yna could feel Electrika is just blinded by anger and could easily sway her feelings. So she attacks Electrika's conscience by worrying about Belen and Flerida. Electrika seems affected.
Angelo tells Claudia about Yna's kidnappers. She pretends to express sympathy. On the other hand, Amor, Eduardo, Angelo, Belen and Betty Mae gather around for a serious talk. They wonder why the syndicate would target Amor, of all people. Angelo brings up that Electrika could be a suspect because it is she who badly wants Amor's wealth. Amor does not want to believe it.
Claudia and Coring have been trying to call up Simon in Zurich but he is not home or in his office and he is not even answering his cellphone. The very next day Maximus reports to Claudia about the illegal aliens they hired to pose as Yna's kindappers. They are doing their job well. Suddenly Claudia gets the shock of her life when a familiar voice calls her

Diego and Lourdes search for Perla San Gabriel. They find out from her that Diego's real father was her late brother, Filomeno. Filomeno and his wife were so poor they did not have a choice but to sell their baby to Do馻 Benita. Do馻 Benita thought she could never bear a child so she opted to adopt Diego, until Eduardo came.

Amor asks help from General. General has worldwide connections so he asked if any international syndicate has something to do with Yna's kidnapping. There is no such event reported.

Errol is on his way to Electrika's house when he spots Claudia leaving the place. He informs Angelo right away.

Angelo and Errol figure Claudia could be part of the conspiracy together with Electrika.

Claudia seems uneasy now that Simon is around. She would not allow her plans to get spoiled. Simon asks Claudia to come back home with him to Zurich with Angelo so they could start a new life there as a family. Claudia explains that she still wants to get Angelo's feelings. Suddenly Angelo arrives and throws a question at his mother why she was in Electrika's place. Claudia denies this at first. Simon is confused who Electrika is so he, too, demands for an explanation. Claudia wants to get away from the interrogations so she pretends to get a migraine attack. Simon confronts Claudia about her sickness. He wants to know why Angelo called him up and mentioned that Claudia is ill. Claudia is trapped and as no choice but to stand up to her story that she has cancer. Simon is devastated.

Simon gets the chance to talk to Angelo. He beseeches Angelo not to get angry with Claudia because of her poor state.

Edelweiss wakes up finding a bouquet of flowers on her bedside. It is from Eduardo. Eduardo already realizes what pushed Edelweiss to commit that mistake and that is jealousy. Because not long ago, he too got tempted with Edelweiss when he was experiencing jealousy with Amor and Diego. Chammy and Edelweiss are also back to normal.
Diego tells Eduardo about his discovery that he is Vicente San Gabriel. He says he does not deserve his inheritance as a Buenavista. Even so Eduardo still insists they divide if fairly and he would always treat Diego as his brother.

One evening, Simon is out to visit a friend so Claudia is left alone in the house. She calls up Maximus to set a meeting for both of them in a few hours. When she is all set to leave, Angelo begins to get suspicious. Claudia says she is just on her way to the see the doctor. Angelo is doubtful so he offers to come along. Claudia gets angry. She pretends to call up the doctor to cancel her appointment.

Angelo and Errol have a strong feeling Claudia and Electrika are behind Yna's kidnapping and desiring for Amor's wealth. Even if they do not hold any evidence, they still tell Amor about it.

Electrika found out Claudia is deceiving her so she grabs all her money and tries to escape town fast. Besides, Claudia really plans to kill Electrika once she got hold of Amor's money.

Amor, Eduardo, Edelweiss and Betty Mae together with the military go as fast as they could to the rice warehouse where the kidnappers are, still holding Yna in captive. Suddenly Angelo arrives. Claudia advise Mr. Smith on what to do. The firing begins. Amor begs stop the shooting for Yna might get hurt. She screams that she would give anything they want for the sake of her daughter. Yna hears this.

However Yna gets the chance to get away when the place is in a hostile state. She runs toward the other side and Amor is so relieved to see her. She runs to embrace Yna in the middle of the bombardment. Angelo heads for Yna, too. In a split second, a bullet hits Amor. Eduardo rushes for Amor, then she fell in his arms.

Mr. Smith and his team scamper out of the warehouse on a get-away speedboat. The military is not able to catch up. The terrorists find Electrika who is about to aboard a helicopter for escape. They capture her.

When Amor gets shot, Yna loses consciousness. They are both rushed to the hospital. Amor is already far from danger. Upon hearing this, Claudia is disappointed because she was hoping Amor would die from the gunshot. Yna is safe too; all she needs is a lot of rest. When Yna awakens, she is so happy to see her loved ones all around her bedside, except for Cookie. The authorities are still looking for him. Yna gets surprised when Julieta arrives. Belen says she had already forgiven Julieta. Julieta is so grateful to see Yna alive. Eduardo and Edelweiss visit Yna, too. Eduardo would not know what to do if something bad happened to her. Diego and Lourdes also drop by. Lourdes thanks Yna for being a reason for her and Amor to meet ways and be friends again. She also adds that Amor is a good mother and person. But if Yna is not ready to forgive Amor yet, it is understandable because of all that had happened.

Amor gathers Eduardo, Claudia, Simon, Angelo, Betty Mae and Coring. As what she promised, she would give her entire wealth to anyone who would save Yna. She hands Claudia the check. Claudia does not accept it and says all she wants is to help and to just do the right thing. Everyone especially Amor are so relieved. When Claudia and Coring are alone, they feel what Claudia has just let go is such a great loss for them. For years Claudia has been yearning for Amor's riches to be all hers. But she could not just accept it because Angelo would surely despise her. Claudia would not sacrifice Angelo for the sake of money.

Angelo and Simon are so proud of what Claudia did to shun such tempting offer. Angelo now believes that there is good in every person. But there is still one thing that is bothering Angelo. He still feels he and Yna are not of the same blood. So he gets this opportunity to ask Simon about his real identity.

Angelo asks if Simon is his real father. Simon does not know what to say so he asks why Angelo said such a thing. Angelo realizes he is being silly. He feels guilty for doubting Eduardo to be his father while the man is so good to him. On the other hand, Claudia figures she would only tell Angelo the truth Yna is not his sister once she has destroyed Amor and Yna.

Amor wants to leave all her properties and corporations to Betty Mae for the meantime. She is also considering letting go of everything she owns for the sake of Yna. She believes everything she has accomplished is an product of revenge and hatred. Now, all she wants is love.

Benjie confronts Diego and asks if he knows a man named Pablo. Diego recalls that Pablo is one of those peasants who was tortured by Claudia by cutting off his tongue. Diego summons up his thoughts. Pablo was Thelma's husband. So many years ago, Thelma used to be Diego's ex-girlfriend. When Thelma asked Diego to marry her, he turned her down because it was Amor he loved then. Thelma was brokenhearted.

Yna confides to Belen how much she wants to see Amor. But there is a voice inside her that is keeping her from doing so. In her heart she has forgiven Amor. But right now, she is not ready to face a new life with Amor yet. Meanwhile Errol drops by to visit Yna. They talk about their jobs as media practitioners. Yna does not want to do anything with the limelight anymore. All she wants is a simple life. But still, Errol reminds her that she would feel satisfaction if she would be able to help others through that craft. After awhile Angelo arrives. He feels a sudden jealousy upon seeing Yna and Errol together but he shakes off the feeling right away.

Lia visits the doctor alone and undergoes blood transfusion. The doctor admires Lia for her courage.

Yna is surprised to find Claudia in her house.

General informs Amor he holds Electrika hostage. Amor is given the chance to speak to her. Electrika is so agitated. She is now ready to reveal to Claudia who really kidnapped Yna.

Amor is hoping she would find out from Electrika who the mastermind of Yna抯 kidnapping really is. But when she asks Electrika, the latter completely goes crazy and keeps saying that Yna is already dead. Electrika is now brought to a mental institution for treatment.

Claudia visits Yna. She pretends to be grateful that Yna is already safe.

Jonathan freaks out in the hospital when he finds Lia about to get blood transfusion. He demands to know what is wrong. Lia has no choice but to tell the truth. Painful as it may seem, she confesses that she would not live longer anymore. Jonathan questions God for taking away all his loved ones. Lia assures that she would always hold on to their promise that she would love him forever. Jonathan feels helpless. All he is left to do is spend those remaining precious hours with Lia.

Diego reveals to Lourdes that Thelma was just a rebound when he finally realized Amor would never love him. He did not really take Thelma seriously. But when he finally met Lourdes, everything made a turn around. He found true love in Lourdes. On the other hand, Eduardo and Edelweiss promise to start anew now that their problems have already been solved.

Amor wonders where Cookie could be. It turns out that Claudia ordered her men to kill Cookie and throw him in an isolated place. One evening a poor elderly couple are about to rummage through the garbage when they see body, all bruised and bloody in the heap. It is Cookie. They are kind enough to bring Cookie to their humble home to dress his wounds.

The company is so excited to have Yna back on the show. A welcome party is given to her. Yna is surprised to see Amor there.

Lia and Jonathan confess to Claudia that they are already married. Claudia is enraged. She could not believe Lia would disobey her and marry who she thinks is a worthless man. She throws Lia out of the house and disowns Lia from that day on. Lia is so hurt and feels guilty. She and Jonathan head to Eduardo hoping he would understand. Eduardo does understand. He is happy for Lia and ties in with her decision to always follow what the heart says. He gives them his blessings. On the other hand, Simon tries to talk to Claudia that Lia is all grown up to make her own decisions. He adds Claudia must accept the fact that not everything she wants would happen. Simon wants Claudia to learn to forgive. Claudia is full of hatred inside. She reacts that some people owe her an apology, too, like her relatives who could not accept her to be a Zalameda. Simon wants Claudia to have peace of mind once and for all. He plans a reunion of Claudia's clan.

Simon goes up to Amor and informs her about the coming reunion. He wants her to be there, too. Amor feels it is about time to reveal the long-kept secret about Mayor Zalameda. Simon could not believe that Claudia's father is still alive.

Pacifico wants to see Puring badly. He thinks of a way to escape from the nurse so he pretends to have stomach pains. So when the nurse checks him up, Pacifico grabs the injection and jabs it on the nurse. The nurse loses consciousness immediately. Pacifico makes a quick dash to Puring's room. He gives her a picture of his granddaughter and pleads to look for the girl.

Amor and Simon wonder why Claudia is hiding her father. Amor suggests that Simon make an investigation. Simon visits the institution and asks for Mayor Pacifico Zalameda. The administrator denies having knowledge of such man. Simon does not believe it. He swears to expose the dirty works of the institution in court if they did not bring out to the old man. The administrator still does not make a budge even if Simon introduces himself as Claudia's husband. So Simon runs up the stairs and takes a look at each room. Finally he finds Pacifico. Simon mentions his name. Pacifico does not recognize him anymore and keeps saying Simon is already gone. Words keep pouring out of Pacifico's mouth. He recalls paying Simon fifty thousand pesos just to stay away from Claudia, without Claudia's knowledge. Suddenly Pacifico bursts out crying. He keeps questioning why Claudia could not forgive him for keeping her away from the only man he loves, Simon. Simon realizes Claudia's love for him is unconditional and he feels guilty for choosing money over their relationship.

Lia and Jonathan rent a small house to stay in. Lia does not mind if the place is miserable as long as she and Jonathan are together.

Errol takes back his resignation from work and Yna is happy. They are given a special project to tour around Asia for their TV program. Errol mentions this to Angelo. Angelo gets jealous but hides it.

Claudia is so excited to show her relatives what she has become now. She recalls her childhood when the Zalamedas maltreated her because she is Pacifico's daughter with a servant.
