Ala murahnye imma. I beli kat sini yg non stick tu $1.95 sebj. Yg mcm you tu sebijik 85 sen duit sini. Ingatkan I nak suruh my sister belikan tapi ternmpk kat kedai sini, my husband suruh beli je. Dia tau perangai I yg tak sabau2 tu. Dia takut kalau I tak beli, tiap2 hari mesti ckp pasal benda yg sama kat dia.
Yg kat belakang tu brownies punya tin ke? Nmpknye kena cari gak lah satu kat sini. |

Sbb jeles tgk imma punya tadi masa jejln kat Perth city ternmpk lak kedai jual utk barang2 chef. So beranganlah jadi chef terus masuk kat situ. I beli lagi tart mould mcm imma. Lepas tu I beli lagi tart/flan tin lagi satu. Hari tu dah beli tapi pergi kasi present ngan my husband's aunty. so beli lagi satu replacement. Since husband ikut sama, apa lagi, capai dan kaut je la.....
Tapi skrg ni pulak masalahnye, manalah nak simpan barang2 ni. Lemari dan pantry dah penuh. |

Laju je injin masuk you. Siap dah buat tart casing.
Acuan yg besar yg I beli tu I ingat nak buat quiche. Kalau tak pun cheesecake, pie or flan. Yg tu loosebottom so senang nak tolak dari bawah. Sebenar nye acuan yg gini I dah ada, cuma yg really deep mcm ni belum lagi. So I ambik size ni dulu. |

Ni tart buat sabtu lepas. Dah lama kero carik resepinya lepas merasa dr satu kenduri kawin. Rupanya resepi tu ada kat rumah sejak taun 80-an lagik. Nasib baik zaman tu mak Kero rajin beli mag mas ...
semalam cadangnya nak buat resepi Kero-kero ni tapi kelapa parut kering plak tak de. Try search resepi ni kat internet, rupanya ada byk variasi Maids of Honour Tarts ni...ada yg plain jer, ada yg campur dgn serbuk almond, etc. Maisya buat yg plain jer dan guna jem nenas utk intinya.
Maids of Honor Tarts I

" If you make these dainty tarts, you must have a tea party. Tiny tart shells are lined with pastry and filled first with a dollop of raspberry jam, and then a spoonful of a buttery egg batter. The tarts are baked and dusted with confectioners ' sugar. This recipe yields a dozen."
INGREDIENTS:
1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch
double crust pie
1/4 cup raspberry jam
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup white sugar
1 egg 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
2 teaspoons confectioners'
sugar for dusting
DIRECTIONS:
1. Move oven rack to bottom position and preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease 12 2-inch tart tins.
2. Roll out pastry and cut 12 3-inch circles. Fit one pastry circle into each tart tin. Spread one teaspoon of raspberry jam into the bottom of each tart shell.
3. In a medium mixing bowl, cream together softened butter or margarine and white sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in egg. Add flour, baking powder, and almond extract and mix until all ingredients are thoroughly combined. Pour 1 tablespoon of batter into each tart shell.
4. Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, until risen and firm. Dust tarts with confectioners' sugar. |
