wa tunggu 2 team top lagik naik atas.. nottingham forest dan leeds united..

Championship - Newcastle United beat Middlesbrough
Newcastle Unitedstretched their lead at the summit of the Championship to 10 pointswith a comfortable 2-0 win against Middlesbrough in the Tyne-Tees derbyat St James' Park.
Marlon Harewood and Shola Ameobiscored in the teams' first league meeting outside the top flight in 18years, to leave the Magpies soaring while Gordon Strachan's Borolanguish in lower mid-table with more defeats than wins.
Newcastlegraciously accepted a few early Christmas gifts from referee KevinFriend in a messy first half. Ameobi appeared to foul Emanuel Pogatetz leading up to Harewood's opening goal, and Middlesbrough will feel they should have had a penalty when Steven Taylor stopped Isaiah Osbourne's goalbound effort with his hand.
Ameobi doubled the Magpies' lead just before the hour mark when he met Danny Guthrie's cross with an unstoppable header.
Thehosts were without the suspended Andy Carroll and Boro managerStrachan, who has won only one match since taking charge at the end ofOctober, was denied the services of Sean St. Ledger after his loanspell ended as well as the creative spark of the injured Adam Johnson.
The Teessiders looked to impose themselves early on and should have edged in front when Leroy Lita shook off Danny Simpson to meet Gary O'Neil's free kick, but his misguided header sailed over the bar.
The former Reading striker was left to rue his profligacy when the hosts gained the ascendency in contentious circumstances in the 16th minute.
Guthrie clipped a free-kick to the back post where Ameobi inexplicably sent Pogatetz crashing down with a blatant push.
Thebig striker beat a stranded Brad Jones to the ball and headed into thepath of Harewood, who pounced to score his fifth goal of the season.
Itwas almost 2-0 nine minutes later. Forgotten man Alan Smith hit a crispleft-foot volley from 20 yards which zipped past Jones's left-handpost.
As the half-hour mark passed, the hosts received their second fortuitous decision from the referee.
O'Neil's swerving free-kick moved like a paper dart in a hurricane, but Steve Harper did brilliantly to readjust his feet and save.
Theloose ball fell for Osbourne and his effort was destined to level thescores until it hit Taylor's hand, struck the grounded Harper, hit thepost and rebounded back into the Newcastle goalkeeper's grateful arms.
Afterthe interval Strachan's troops played with renewed vigour, but onceagain paid the ultimate price for not taking their chances.
Moments after David Wheatersaw his header drop agonisingly wide of Harper's right-hand post, ChrisHughton's Toon Army marched up the other end and doubled their lead.
Guthrie,the fulcrum of the Newcastle side, whipped in a silver service deliveryfrom the right for Ameobi to power a header past Jones, who was caughtin no man's land.
Coasting in cruise control, the Magpiesbarely broke sweat after the second goal, and the few chances that werecreated by Boro only troubled the freezing supporters in the stands asLita's wild efforts missed the target.
As the fight drainedfrom Middlesbrough's legs, Guthrie stung the hands of Jones with afierce free-kick before the final whistle.
It is one win ineight for Strachan as the Magpies secured their fifth successive homewin to preserve the only surviving unbeaten home record in theChampionship. |

Newcastle hampir ke EPL
NEWCASTLE - Newcastle kian hampir untuk mengesahkan kelayakan dalam Liga Perdana England musim depan, selepas menang 2-0 ke atas Nottingham Forest dalam saingan divisyen satu, kelmarin.
Shola Ameobi, yang kembali beraksi setelah mengalami kecederaan, meletakkan Newcastle mendahului perlawanan pada pertengahan babak kedua.
Jaringan pertama Jose Enrique bersama kelabnya pada masa tambahan, mengesahkan kemenangan yang semakin hampirmemberikan kelayakan automatik ke Liga Perdana buat skuad Magpies.
Jika Newcastle menang di Peterborough pada Sabtu ini, mereka bakal mengesahkan aksi dalam Liga Perdana musim depan, dengan syarat pasukan di tangga ketiga, Forest kalah di Bristol City.
Ameobi, yang menggantikan Andy Carroll, membuat kemunculan pertama dan dia membuktikan kekurangan Newcastle, apabila menerima hantaran Kevin Nolan untuk menjaringkan gol pada 19 minit akhir perlawanan.
Penyerang bertubuh sasa itu memusingkan badan dan merembat leret dengan kaki kiri ke penjuru gawang untuk memecah kebuntuan jaringan.
