Plat, tadi pergi Carrefour memang takda tepung sagu. Yang ada sagu biji, tepung pulut, tepung kanji & tepung ubi. Then I tanya kat FnR, Ninoz cakap kalau takda tepung sagu boleh gantikan dengan tepung kanji atau tepung ubi. So in the case kalau nak buat keropok lekor ni, bolehlah I letak 400g tepung ubi instead of 300 tepung sagu dan 100g tepung ubi...aci tak macam tu? Sorrylah Plat, ni memang teringin sangat nak buat keropok. Bekalan keropok ikan yang kering tu tinggal sepeket je..

Kat seafood section tadi ada nampak ikan selar, kembung & parang. Nantilah I tunggu jawapan dari you bolehlah I start project keropok pulak..

Lobster dish kat VS tu kalau tak silap RM180 kan? Lama dah tak ke sana.

question: kat OZ, ada limit tak berapa ekor lobster a person can take. kat sini siap ada size, kalau amik yg kecik cinonet, kena tangkap  last week tak silap ada orang kena tangkap, but bukan pasal lobster, pasal kerang apa benda alah ntah, kaler hitam. looks like abalone.

Answer:
- Recreational licence holder (mcm I ni) boleh ada cuma 2 lobsters pots. Each individual is only allowed to take 8 lobsters at a time.
- At all times and any circumstances, only 16 crays/lobsters (sebelum ni only 14) dibenarkan on a boat. So no matter how many lobsters yg masuk kat dalam your pots, and no matter how many people on your boat, you can take only 16 lobsters (with a minimum of 2 licence holder on the boat). The rest, you have to return/release them to the sea.
- Undersize, breeding female and pregnant female pun tak boleh ambik. Fisheries selalu ronda. So kalau kena tangkap nanti pasti kena warning or kena saman.

Ketam kita boleh ambik semua yg kita tangkap. Tapi undersize dan pregnant female kena buang balik ke laut.

I think AU dan NZ ni undang2 fisheries lebih kurang sama....

Pernah I baca kat internet pasal this lady dok kat oversea so tak jumpa tepung sagu. Dia buat guna tepung ubi je. Boleh jugak la tapi dia kata lagi sedap kalau guna tepung sagu.

Why dont u buat 100gm dulu. Kalau rasa dia ok baru you buat banyak skit. Takut tak jadi nanti banyak pulak nak kena buat baja.....

Dinner last night utk my hb dan anak yg kecik....I ngan anak sulong makan nasi goreng dgn sambal lobster (balance 2 hari lepas).

Hari ni untuk minum petang I buat donut untuk anak2. Untuk hb I ingatkan nak buat turkish bread tapi process dia berhari2. So settled with Focaccia bread aje....taruk 4 herbs dan kalamata olives...

Kat Malaysia lagi mewah makanan tau dan senang makan kat kedai je. Tak susah nak masak selalu. Kita kalau boleh nak dok kat sana....

Victoria Station punya lobster besar2. I tak tau ler, kat US ni susah sangat tengok lobster besar2, first time makan kat Restaurant 'Red Lobster' kat US nih, bengang giler. Kecik cinonit je lobster dia, macam dua kali masuk mulut dah habih. Mahal lak tu. Tu yang teringat-ingat lobster kat Victoria station.

Tapi my friend yang dari Maine cakap, lobster kat sana besar2. Tak tau ler states lain kat US. I pernah cakap kat hubby I...'aik, takkan bagi ekor lobster jek'...hubby cakap bukan ekor...tu the whole lobster la...ler....cinonitnya.

abang mu dah balik tu bolehlah pergi makan lobster ..

Kat sini pun boleh tahan besar lobster, nak beli sampai hari ni tak terbeli..leceh nak kena ke port..

Plat, I rasa kita baca the same thing, tadi i terjumpa jugak satu blog ni, ada someone cakap guna je tepung ubi kalau takda tepung sagu...selamat...tapi tak beli ikan pulak....

Bukannya canadian lobster 'godang', ketam dia pun godang2 gak. Satu ketam dekat 10 lbs kekadang tu. Terkejut I masa mula2 makan ketam kat Canada. But they are very fresh!

Note: Godang bahasa Negeri is besar.

hahah spring nak masuk summer nanti dijual kak.. hidup hidup beli fresh
makan pun sodap... ada satu kedai vitenam..
dia jual losbter ngan sos kacang.. best gila..
so tiap summer dalam agenda mesti ada pegi kedai ni..

abang tu besok bday nya...
ni sekarang rumah tengah penuh belon..

me tenguk gambar, best gila pegi port beli ikan.....
seafoods fresh habis...

Hari ni teringin buat karipap. Masalahnya I tak tau buat tepung dia, I don't have problem buat inti. So terfikir to use ready use pie crust. So I gulung and bake. The results macam kat bawah

I pernah tengok last year ke bila you makan lobster with the family..sungguh menyelerakan dan sungguh menjeleskan...Kat sini ketam adalah besar tapak tangan budak..agaknya belum musim lagi kot.

Hiro, dulu I pun tak reti buat kulit karipap until hari tu Mallan give this link (this kakak siap tunjuk how to make the karipap pusing step by step) simple and memang menjadi punya even for me yang tak kreatif ni...http://rinnchan.fotopages.com/?entry=1144540. Cuma I tak reti nak lipat/kelim kat tepi tu so guna acuan karipap...
BTW nampak very padat dan sedap your karipap.
