kawan2 semua, smlm bila i ngah ngok tv, wah ade rumah estet ala bentuk condo @ telok blangah akan dibina, bila i ngok wah very lawa, confirm mesti mahal, tak silap the price range from $345,000-$600,000(estimate aje). i cant recall wats the name is something called "duxton". semua renvation semua dah pasang siap aje

setahu aku ni semua bukan open market kan? cuma cam sewa je kan? maybe aku salah info ah...

Rumah L (satu bilik) ko apply thru HDB ah..   telok blangah ada lagi a few flats... ni case by case basis tak salah aku, kalo mana2 makcik2 kecik hati tumpang ngan anak, ada yang apply flat2 ni tinggal sengsorang

yang 2-room, aku ada kenal dua kawan2 tinggal toa payoh dan bedok , dorang cerita kat aku kriteria nak dapatkan 2room flat ni, husband n wife punya salary combine mesti bawah sekian2 had.

Eligibility

Citizenship Requirement
The applicant must be a Singapore citizen. At least one other member listed in the application must be either a Singapore citizen or a Singapore permanent resident.
Age Requirement
Applicant must be at least twenty-one years old.
Income Ceiling
Total gross household income must not exceed $1,500/- per month.
Family Nucleus
The applicant must have a proper family nucleus defined as follows:
Applicant and spouse
Applicant (if single) and parents
Applicant (if widowed/divorced) with children under legal custody
Fiance and fiancee
Orphans
Property Ownership
The applicant and all the persons listed in the application must not own, have an estate or interest in a private property (whether residential or otherwise and including private properties outside Singapore)/HDB flat/HUDC flat/Executive Condominium/house/building/land; or have disposed of such property within 30 months prior to the date of application.
Debarment
The applicant and all the persons listed in the application must not have owned or sold two HDB flats bought directly from HDB in the open market.
A person who has been debarred from renting an HDB flat under any of HDB/ Government rules, regulations or policies will not be eligible to apply for a rental flat under the Public Rental Scheme or be listed as an occupier in the application.
Existing HDB Tenants
The applicant and all persons listed in the application must not be existing tenants/essential occupiers of HDB flats.

Flat Type
One- & two-room flats subject to availability.

Rents
The rents payable would be dependent on the total monthly gross household income as follows: Monthly Household Income Monthly Rents
1-Room 2-Room
Household Income $800 Or Below  $26 - $33 $44 - $75
Household Income Between $801 And $1,500 (Wef 1 Oct 03) $90 - $111 $123 - $150

Rental Deposits
3 months rental deposit is payable at the time of execution of tenancy agreement if monthly rents are paid by cash.
1 month rental deposit is payable at the time of execution of tenancy agreement if monthly rents are paid by GIRO.

Tenancy
2-year term tenancy, any renewal shall be at HDB's sole discretion & shall be subject to such terms as it may impose.

How To Apply
Application forms are available at HDB Rental Housing Section, any HDB Branch Office or HDB InfoWEB www.hdb.gov.sg under the "HDB Flats/Rental" section.
Applicant can submit the application personally, via Internet or by post to the HDB Rental Housing Section, Atrium, 3rd storey, HDB Hub, 480 Lor 6 Toa Payoh, Singapore 310480.
Completed application forms together with the relevant documents as stated in the form are to be submitted to HDB Rental Housing Section for registration.
For application forms submitted via Internet, applicants need to send by post or fax (fax no: 6490-4424) the relevant documents stated in the form to the HDB Rental Housing Section for verification.

i  got a relative,dia jual rumah dapat cash 6 figure.he took out the maximum cash out and his loan pulak....he paid the barest minimum to hdb.in another word,cash kat tangan banyak and hutang to HDB pun banyak.he bought kereta baru and a year later he sold the car....ni dah rugi around $8k.dia beli ini beli itu....dia punya cash in hand pun dah abis....but now...
.......HUTANG TO HDB MASIH BANYAK BELUM SELESAI ...we cannot save $50k in 10 years but we can spend $50k in 3 years.

kekawan semua, dat day SC ckp pasal rumah baru ala condo is called "Pinnacle Duxton, oh mine, the sq feet is getting small for S1 (4 BILIK)- abt 93-97.
S2 (Lima bilik) abt 100-108, wah betul punya kecil n sunnguh mahal sekali

That's the thing, if I had a choice, I'd rather pay off HDB. Chic tak suka berhutang. Pikir kan the interest that you have to pay, its quite a hefty amount, very pek chek. Jangan kata spending 50K in 3 years, kalau Chic belum 3 hari dah habis agaknya...;)

itu hari matz jalan2 kat lighting shop...ni shop pulak tengah nak closing ...
business not so good.dia jual lampu gantong yang tarok kat hall ...for only $30 ....  apalagi matz pun belikan for my parents.hari raya lampu baru seh...this is real value for money...i bought one for me around $30 jugak.
lampu rumah matz beli kat jalan besar...kalau nak beli,you pergi round2 dulu to check the price...kalau dah berkenan then go and buy.happy hunting....

Just to share this with you...

Sekarang Chic tengah house hunting. I dare say 50% of the houses I went to view are already empty. REason being the owners dah upgrade to private property. Dalam kegawatan ekonomi sekarang pun ramai jugak yang take the plunge to upgrade....hairan jugak Chic...:hmm:
