'Yon-sama' BYJ was chosen as 'The Star of the Year' by reporters and producing directors.BYJ was crowned in the first place by getting 68 votes in the section of '2004 The Star of the Year' polled by free sports newspaper, 'Sports Hankook', among 110 reporters in charge of broadcasting, film, & popular music and producing directors of drama & entertainment programs at 3 groundwave stations.
Along with him, the CJ Entertainment, producer, investor, and distributor of films, was chosen as the 'Korean Entertainment Powerman' on the question asking person or institution which has exerted the most influence on the entertainment industry in this year.
Parl Shiinyang(lover in paris), Bi(full house), Cultoo were chosen as the Actor of the Year, the Singer of the Year, and the Gagman of the Year, respectively, and SBS TV's 'Lover in Paris' was chosen as the 'TV Program of the Year'.
Also film by Director Kang Jegyu, 'Taegeuggi...' took the 'Picture of the Year', and 'Dear Friend' sung by Cho PD & Insoonyi took the first place in the 'Popular Song of the Year'. Following is the order from first to the third in each section.

'WLS' will be aired encore also at home in January next year

KBS2 mini-series 'WLS', the leader of the Korean Current hot wind, will be aired encore at home also. It is in 3 years since its first airing on January 14th in 2002.
From January 8th in next year, at 11:05 PM on every Saturday, it will be on the waves of KBS 2 TV over total of 10 weeks with 2 episodes back to bakc on each week.
On January 8 when airing the first episode, before the regular program, they will air the competitive strength of the 'WLS', charm of the 'WLS' which has shown genuine power as the 21st Century cultural content, and viewing points, etc. through a special feature program, 'WLS Special'.
The 'WLS' was the first Korean Drama aired on the NHK, public broadcasting station in Japan, and it is currently aired for the fourth time through NHK as original no-cut subtitled version(since December 20 for 10 days with 2 episodes a day on BS-2 satellite).
After getting aired twice on the NHK BS-2 satellite station, the third airiing(4/3~8/21/04:as it was not aired on May 22 due to special on the Prime Minister Koizumi's visit to North Korea, there were flurry of protest from the viewers) began its first episode with 9.3% viewing rate, about 3 times higher than average viewing rate(3~4%) at 11 PM time on NHK. Since then the viewing rate rose in each episode by about 1% so that from the 8th episode, it entered the top 10 Japanese dramas recording 15% viewing rate. The last episode on 8/21 even took the first place for the viewing rate among the Japanese dramas with 20.6% viewing rate.
Until now, it was exported to Japan to begin with, and USA, Taiwan, China, Uzbekistan, Philippines, Malaysia, Cambodia, Singapore, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, Viet Nam, & Egypt capturing the local viewers.
The 'WLS' is a love story of 3 people, Kang Joonsahng/Lee Minhyeong(BYJ), Jeong Yoojin(Choi Jiwoo) & Kim Sahnghyeok(Park Yongha) who were bound by bondage of relationship due to fateful first love during their school years, and is the second work in the series of season by Yoon Seokho PD of the 'Fall Fable' who rang the heart strings of viewers with neat beauty of visual and solid storyline.

wah nampaknyer WS ditayang balik kat korea pasal winter sonata syndrome melanda Jepun...so lepas nie org korea dptlah tgk balik....kat korea lepas 3 thn baru tayang balik...kat Jepun citer WS nie dah tayang sampai 4 kali pasalnyer ramai sgt request suruh ulang tayang balik...tapi kali ke-4 nie baru lagi tayang was uncut version means diorang nak sorer yg original taknak sorer dub in Jepun mcm b4 nie...:ah:...mcm2 betul fans jepun nie...tapi at least suara diorang untuk tayang dlm bahasa korea didengar tapi kat sini...puas suruh tayang citer korea dlm bahasa asal kat 8tv sikit pun tak ambik pusing...nasib baik ada tv2 tuepun aku x dpttgk...:kant: |

WLS 'Lover's Day' opened

The event of 'Lover's Day with WLS' sponsored by city of Chooncheon, Kangwon-Do opend on the street of Myeong-Dong in Chooncheon in the afternoon on 12/31/04.
In the day's event, along with pre-ceremony events of contest for best couple and Yoojin, experiencing the WLS acting, etc, Proclamation of the Lover's Day, Launching ceremony of BYJ's hand printing, WLS Quiz Show, etc were prepared iin viarieety even in chilly weather.
The Lover's Day was prepared on the day (Decembeer 31st) when Joonsahng promosed Yoojin he would tell her who he loved as he was to return Yoojin her mitten back in 'WLS', with aim for lovers to exchange gifts(pair of mitten) and whisper love.
By the way, NHK plans to intorduced on live relay a part of main event held on the street of Myeong-Dong in the evening on that day.
