PENULIS CURAH PENGALAMAN APABILA IPOD ROSAK
PADA Jun lalu, saya dan isteri membeli iPod Click Wheel 20GB berharga $528 sebagai hadiah hari jadi anak kami.
Namun belum sampai dua minggu, anak saya mendapati iPodnya retak dan menunjukkannya kepada saya.
Mulanya saya sangka iPod tersebut retak akibat terjatuh tetapi anak saya mengesahkan iPod tersebut retak tanpa terjatuh dan retak yang berlaku adalah retak dalaman.
Saya pergi ke Apple Service Centre yang terletak di Ang Mo Kio.
Setelah memeriksa iPod itu, seorang pekerja memaklumkan bahawa pihak Apple tidak dapat berbuat apa-apa kerana retak dalaman tidak termasuk dalam jaminan, malah beliau meminta saya agar membeli sahaja yang baru.
Selang dua hari, saya pergi lagi ke Apple Service Centre untuk membuat rayuan namun rayuan ditolak.
Saya pulang dengan perasaan hampa dan bertekad membawa perkara ini ke tengah kerana mendapati pihak Apple tidak bertindak wajar.
Saya kemudian ke Persatuan Pengguna Singapura (Case) yang kemudian meminta kami pergi ke Apple Centre di Wheelock Place untuk berjumpa dengan seorang pegawai di sana.
Tetapi pegawai Apple di sana sekali lagi menolak permintaan kami untuk membaiki alat itu.
Setelah berulang-alik antara Case dengan Apple Centre, akhirnya saya membawa perkara ini ke Tribunal Tuntutan Kecil atas saranan Case.
Pada awal bulan ini, hakim memutuskan bahawa pihak Apple perlu menggantikan iPod saya. Saya pula perlu membayar $100 bagi kos penukaran itu.
Walaupun perlu menokok $100, saya gembira kerana semua tuduhan yang dilemparkan kepada saya selama ini, seperti kurang ajar dan bersikap tidak munasabah, terbukti tidak benar.
Saya harap orang ramai dapat lebih berhati-hati dan mendapat iktibar daripada kejadian ini.

bulan june yang lalu aku dapat i pod shuffle dari singnet.. siot rosak.. aku kena hantar kat amk st 64- apple service centre... ingat kan dapat yang baru.. rupanya kena repair.. 1 week later kena datang collect sendiri... :siok: |

MADAM Rukini Ahmad was on her way back to Singapore from her holiday in Kuala Lumpur and Malacca.
But the retired teacher and a friend never made it.
Madam Rukina was killed on the spot when the van she was in went out of control and overturned on the North-South Expressway near Kulai on Sunday.
Another passenger, identified as Mak Putih, 70, by a travelling companion, died in Changi Hospital.
Madam Rukini, 69, who was seated in the middle, was trapped in the vehicle for 30 minutes before personnel from the Simpang Renggam fire station could free her, reported The Star newspaper.
She was among 10 people, aged between 47 and 69, who were on their way back home after a weekend in Malaysia.
Johor Baru (North) Traffic Chief Inspector Bakri Zainal Abidin said that van driver Zulkifli Mat Kassim, 47, had lost control of the vehicle while trying to avoid hitting a motorcyclist.
The white Toyota Hiace skidded into the emergency lane before ramming into a metal divider at about 6pm at the 41km-mark of the expressway.
The impact caused the vehicle to overturn twice before it smashed into a lamp-post.
'(Madam Rukini) died of head and body injuries,' Insp Bakri said.
He said five other passengers had severe injuries while four escaped with minor injuries. They were treated at Kulai District Hospital and were transferred yesterday to Changi Hospital, where Mak Putih died.
One member of the group, Mr Jumaidi bin Mohamad from Jurong, spoke to The New Paper this morning.
The ex-fireman said: 'The van overturned twice - like lightning.
'When it was over, three of us were stacked one on top of the other.
'Some passers-by helped me out. I only suffered some bruises to my right elbow.
'After I got out, I told the others 'Don't move. Hold steady. Don't panic.' '
Mr Jumaidi was seated in the second row directly in front of Madam Rukini.
He said the whole group have been friends for about four years and frequently go on holidays to Malaysia and Thailand.
Mr Jumaidi's son, who only wanted to be known as Fir, 26, said his parents were reluctant to talk to The New Paper because his mother was too traumatised.
He said when Ms Jumani's children and concerned relatives asked about the incident she merely replied: 'I am okay. What's there to talk about?'

bapak kawan I .. baru lepas call dia.... her mum masih traumatised.
my friend kata her mum tercampak on the grass... sib baik both her parents just luka2 jer.. nothing fatal...
her mum dulu traumatised naik motor lepas accident.. now her mum traumatised laks naik van & kereta...
so sad....

ada kawan I beli yg earlier model.. dia kata murah mmg murah.. tapi kejap2 kena hantar gi servis..
but if u nak take the chance... give it a shot laaa..
kalau rosaknya fatal.. dorang ganti ngan yg baru.. |

Aries pun dapat free Apple iPod shuffle...so far dah 2 bulan pakai...alhamdulilah masih ok lagik.... |
