And how... He has roped in Kajol and his Omkara co-stars for his directorial debut

Ajay Devgan is reviving his banner Devgan Entertainment and how! The banner had become defunct post Raju Chacha in 2000. However, it will bounce back with a film directed by none other than Ajay Devgan himself. The film will go on the floors in June 2007.
The intense, brooding Devgan has proved his mettle as an actor. Now he will step into the role of a director. He has full support from wife Kajol, who has gladly agreed to play the lead role in her husband's directorial debut. When contacted Devgan抯 publicist quoted the actor, saying, "We are currently working on the script of the film and nothing has been finalised. The film will indeed be made under the banner of Devgan Entertainment but the rest of the details are yet to be finalised. Once we have a bound script we will decide rest of the details."
Vivek Oberoi and Saif Ali Khan are on board too The other USP of the film is that it will bring together the cast and crew of Omkara yet again. Rumours are rife about Saif Ali Khan and Vivek Oberoi being roped in for Devgan directorial debut.
Devgan Entertainment has earlier made films like Raju Chacha, directed by Anil Devgan, Hindustan Ki Kasam, directed by Veeru Devgan and Dil Kya Kare directed by Prakash Jha. |
