Wanna discuss simple topic or heavy topic?
Any topics will do as long as it doesn't hurt someone...
Simple topic:
1. My hobbies
2. Local football etc.
Serious topic:
i. Social ills in the society
ii. Poverty in Malaysia
ii. Flood situation in Johor etc. |

reply to #72 dexa's post
thank you for correcting me.
i'm not really read reader's digest coz i prefer to read magazine (reader's digest is serious and magazine is so much fun) i've been suscribing cleo magz for 6 years, i read the star frequently (my lecturer said the star language is more easy than the nst) and i do love to read english novel.
i hate english at first, then when i was in form 4, my english teacher taught my class with so much fun (i couldn't find the right word here, am i right?). she treat us like a primary school student but i like it. she asked us to cut and paste from the newspaper (like a primary school student), made a parody from sonnet 18's shakespeare (for literature) and she even asked the boys to do pick-up line for a girl in the class.
since this is the best english class i ever learn, i look forward to each class with her. she taught my class for two years and since then i grew fondness to english language and the best part is i get A1 for my SPM and my bm is worse. well, spm is a written exam and i don't have to speak, so i can do really well. but now in the universiti, presentation is compulsory and participation carry 10% mark to final and it's been hard for me.
i'm still working with my speaking problem with having a simple conversation with my friend like - let's go to eat. what is the time now, and let's go to...... when i'm having conversation in english with my friend people around tend to look at me (i know in their mind they will said-berlagak betul nak cakap english, cakapla melayu!).
my lecturers always said people tend to evaluate us and they're being judgemental to other people. go to hell with what the people said! (this is exactly what my lecturers said to the class) don't give a damn what is on their mind! our culture is like that, always love to judge other people. so right now i dont care what other people said to me coz i'm still learning and proud of it.
