During the Vietnam War, Vietnam was helped by the Communits powers esp Soviet Union & China. After the war, Vietnam was courted by both Moscow & Beijing to be their proxy. Vietnam choose to be pro-Moscow instead of Beijing. So thats how the relationship between Vietnam & China started to break-apart; despite them both being communist. |

Komunis tp tak sama. PRC adalah Mao-Marxism manakala Viet adalah Leninisme (versi komunis Russia). Ho Chi Minh, bapa pengasas komunis Viet adalah lbh terarah pd Marxisme ala Soviet Union.
Waktu era perang Dingin, Viet adalah tapak utk USSR memantau pergerakan US Navy di rantau ASEAN. Pd awal 1960an tika perang Vietnam vs US, PRC ngan USSR bekalkan peralatan perang manakala USSR bekalkan penasihat/jurulatih militer kat Viet.
Tp dipendekkan citer, USSR & PRC bergaduh, tak ngam (pesal ideologi & kepentingan geopolitik), hingga melibatkan persengketaan sempadan antara PRC & USSR (Sino-Russo War,1969). PRC hentikan bekalan senjata kat Viet, USSR sambung bekalan senjata pd Viet. PRC bengang sbb USSR & Viet pd 1970an byk menggunakan propaganda war yg hanya Viet & USSR berjaya ganyang USA.
Kemudian Khmer Rouge (talibarut PRC) yg berpaksikan Maoisme rampas kerajaan Kampuchea (aka Kemboja) & buat kekejaman, sampaikan melibatkan konflik di sempadan Viet-Kemboja. Viet atas alasan melindungi etnis Viet di sempadan Viet serta atas dasar perikemanusiaan (pdhal Viet nak jd political master kat Indochina, kena cucuk ngan USSR) Viet menjajah Kemboja.
PRC plak ingat Viet yg tak padan kecik nak tunjuk lagak ngan dia. Atas alasan membantu Kemboja, PRC lancar perang kat Viet pd 1979, tp takde sapa menang, takde sapa kalah (tp dua2 ngaku menang).
Viet ngan pengaruh USSR terus cengkam Kemboja, tp Viet Navy bertembung ngan PLN waktu krisis Spratley 1988 yg menyaksikan 2 bijik kapal Viet tenggelam, sebijik rosak teruk. |

Sikit info Sejarah varyag...
Construction of the Varyag began in 1985. After the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, ownership of the carrier was transfered to newly independent Ukraine. Ukraine halted construction in 1992, when the vessel was about 70% complete. The total estimated cost of the ship was about US$2.4 billion, and more than US$500 million was needed to complete her construction.
Varyag is now under very sophisticated upgrading at Chinese naval base Dalian where it had been tied up for three years after a towage lasted 627 days.
In 1991, when the Soviet Union dissolved, the second full-size aircraft carrier for the Soviet Union, the Varyag-sister ship to the Kuznetsov, was under construction in the Ukraine. With the Soviet demise, the Ukraine inherited the incomplete vessel but did not have the finances to complete her. In 1992 a Chinese delegation visited the Ukraine in the hopes of coming to terms on a purchase price of the unfinished vessel. A suitable purchase price was not agreed upon. Later, in 1998, the Chong Lot Travel Agency, a supposed Macau firm, bought the Varyag from the Ukraine for $20 million dollars with the stated intention of making the Varyag a casino for commercial profit. As it turned out, Chong Lot had no offices in Macau and was simply a front company for a Hong Kong firm called Chinluck Holding Co. Ltd. As it also turned out, the managing directors of Chinluck, had strong ties to the Chinese navy. It took three years for the front firm, Chong Lot Travel, to get permission to tow the Varyag through the Istanbul Straits and on to China.
China has an aircraft carrier research and design program, which includes continued renovations to the former Soviet Kuznetsov-class aircraft carrier VARYAG. Beginning in early 2006 with the release of China’s Eleventh Five Year Plan, PRC-owned media reported high-level government and military official statements on China’s intent to build aircraft carriers. In December 2008, China’s Ministry of National Defense spokesman Senior Colonel Huang Xueping said “China has vast oceans and it is the sovereign responsibility of China’s armed forces to ensure the country’s maritime security and uphold the sovereignty of its coastal waters as well as its maritime rights and interests,” and added that China is “seriously considering” adding an aircraft carrier to its fleet, because “the aircraft carrier is a symbol of a country’s overall national strength, as well as the competitiveness of the country’s naval force.” This was preceded by a November 2008 statement by the Director of the Ministry of National Defense, Foreign Affairs Office, Major General Qian Lihua, that “having an aircraft carrier is the dream of any great military power,” and “the question is not whether you have an aircraft carrier, but what you do with your aircraft carrier.”
China continues to show interest in procuring Su-33 carrier-borne fighters from Russia even though the ex-VARYAG aircraft carrier has yet to complete refurbishment at Dalian shipyard. In October 2006, a Russian press report suggested early-stage negotiations were underway for China to purchase up to 50 such aircraft at a cost of $2.5 billion. However, there has been no announcement of a contract for the aircraft.
The PLA Navy has reportedly decided to initiate a program to train 50 navy pilots to operate fixed-wing aircraft from an aircraft carrier. The program was reported to be four years long and would be followed by ship-borne training involving the ex-VARYAG. Analysts in and out of government project that China will not have an operational, domestically-produced carrier and associated ships before 2015. However, changes in China’s shipbuilding capability and degree of foreign assistance to the program could alter those projections. The PLA Navy is considering building multiple carriers by 2020. |

apa perbezaan utama pahaman Mao dgn Lenin ni bro?
Kira USSR totok komunis, China komunis ekstremis, Viet komunis celup.
Tp China waktu zmn Deng Xiao Peng dah berubah ... Komunis caca marba. Politik stail komunis, ekonomi stail kapitalis. Dulu PRC komunis tak bertuhan, skrg PRC komunis bertuhankan duit. |

susah nak bezakan tapi interm of economy doctrine dia bebeza ...
View 1:
1. One difference between socialism and communism is that socialism is mainly an economic system, while communism is both an economic and a political system. As an economic system, socialism seeks to manage the economy through deliberate and collective social control. Communism, however, seeks to manage both the economy and the society by ensuring that property is owned collectively and that control over the distribution of property is centralized in order to achieve both classlessness and statelessness. Both socialism and communism are similar in that they seek to prevent the ill effects that are sometimes produced by capitalism.
2. Another difference between socialism and communism is that communists assert that both capitalism and private ownership of means of production must be done away with as soon as possible in order to make sure a classless society, the communist ideal, is formed. Socialists, however, see capitalism as a possible part of the ideal state and believe that socialism can exist in a capitalist society. In fact, one of the ideas of socialism is that everyone within the society will benefit from capitalism as much as possible as long as the capitalism is controlled somehow by a centralized planning system
View 2
1. Socialism and Communism are often used interchangeably as they are both in opposition to Capitalism but they are actually two different economic philosophies. Both have been theorized in different versions ranging from libertarian to authoritarian along the social spectrum. Societies having these economic philosophies bear little resemblance to one another if they are on opposite sides of the social spectrum. To add to the confusion many political entities have described themselves as "Socialist" or "Communist" in name, without actually adhering to either in their economic policies. One of the most notable is the Nationalist Socialist German Worker's party which incorporated "Socialist" into their name but actually carried out a mixed policy of privatized and state Capitalism. Russian aspect----->Another infamous and most commonly cited one was the U.S.S.R., which not only claimed to be Socialist but also claimed to be a Federation of Democratic Republics. In reality that government was an oppressive bureaucracy with a centrally planned state capitalist economy. |
