KUALA LUMPUR: Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor’s dancing skills at the opening of last night’s Anugerah MeleTop Era 2019 have won more nods than snubs from friends and fans.
Backed by a group of dancers, the MeleTop co-host danced to Beyonce’s hit song Single Ladies and South Korean girl group BlackPink’s Kill Your Love.
While some found her moves a little too stiff, most gave her a big hand for sportingly attempting a new skill. Netizens, including popular artistes, were amazed that Neelofa could dance well and described her act as one of the show’s highlights.
They also liked her all-black outfit complete with boots and a cap.
“So hot! Great job, Lofa!” said actress Mawar Rashid.
“Win giler!” said actress Siti Elizad Sharifuddin.
“Thanks for the BlackPink dance. I was smiling all the way to the moon!” said Khadijah.
“First time I’m seeing you dance, Lofa! Not bad,” said Torres.
“A bit stiff, but still awesome, Lofa,” said Kura.
“So sporting, Lofa. Great job,” said Yeoja.
Neelofa, 30, co-hosted the awards show at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil with comedians Nabil Ahmad and Jihan Muse.
