Meg’s Maternity Album, pt.1: August-October 2018
With the royal tadpole due any day week month now, let’s reminisce about the first trimester of the Sussex pregnancy, shall we? Dates are derived from the 15 Oct. announcement mentioning a “12-week scan” and a 14 Jan comment by MM saying she was then “six and a half months” (26 weeks) along. That places conception at 2-9 Aug., and 26 weeks gestation on 14 Jan. She’s 41 weeks gone as of 25 April. All photos are available online; none have been altered, although some have been cropped to show detail. 1. MM slyly hints in tasteful blue frock on 6 Sept, just four weeks after conception:

5. Only one week later at a Fiji state dinner on 23 Oct, MM is lit with a maternal glow as she fondles her bulge in this cape dress
whose inspiration looks less than pleased:
6. Megs does a fashion masterclass Oct 24 in this classy print, with bump snuggled beneath ample bosoms and charming pom-pom trim – but what we really want to know is: “Where’s the timeshare, mates?”
7. Enroute to NZ on 28 Oct, our windswept heroine looks svelte in Hugo Boss. It’s fab what those vegan kale-avocado toast-vodka smoothies can do for one’s girlish figure, isn’t it?
8. Landing in NZ hours later on 28 Oct: Megs models black ASOS maternity dress as Harry wonders, “Is it mine, or is she smuggling a joey under there?”
One too many smoothies on the plane, perhaps? 9. Jolly good thing we’ve a hike in the bush two days later, eh? Back in the skinnies on 30 Oct – my, my!
10. The next morning (31 Oct), MM struts her ample assets in Stella McCartney:
