Fund accounting associate (5post urgently)
1yr experience but Fresh grade pon ok, janji ada keen n knowledge dlm investment/derivatives/hedge fund etc..
Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
Required language(s): English
location kat old klang road with mnc company, permanent staff...
Responsibilities:
* Trade processing, investment accounting and valuation
* Load manager’s trade files
* Set up new securities including all characteristics
* Request and load prices and corporate action data
* Process the current period’s corporate actions
Reconciliation
* Retrieve position and transaction reports from broker web-sites or network folders
* Reconcile cash, positions and market value to PB and counterparty statements
* Research variances between the Organisation and broker reports
* Contact broker or manager and follow up as required to resolve differences in a timely and professional manner
Fund accounting
* Calculate and post fee and expense accruals
* Calculate and verify NAV
* Sign off on checklist
* Have fund reviewed by supervisor
Client and investor reporting
* Produce NAV estimates or finals in agreed format
* Generate and send reports to clients and investors
* Deal with clients’ questions about reports and results
Other
* Assist with the implementation of new clients and special projects
* Database upgrade and product release testing
* Any other task or project assigned by department head |
