haah...lepas doktor ubah due date aku ...lagi aku glabah..sbb baru ade baju ngan katil, tu pun semalam beli katil....baranag2 lain tgh nak cari ni....aku memang tak harap laki aku gi beli....aku tak puas hati kang..baik aku herot pun tak kisah janji aku pilih!!!!!

tapi kalsium pun penting gak.....jgn tinggal.....

Ante-natal Exercises

It's never too early to start a low-impact, doctor-approved exercise routine. It will help you manage the extra weight you'll be gaining, and help you get ready for the physical rigors of labour.  
   
  The extra pounds that you gain during pregnancy, does make it especially important to watch your posture. Adopting the correct posture during pregnancy helps reduce the risk of back injuries. You should:
   
  Stand straight
Bend your legs instead of your back when picking up or lifting things.
Stay out of high-heeled shoes.
Do not stand for long periods.

  Your posture when you stand :
   
  Keep your shoulders back and drop them slightly
Keep your back straight
Tuck your bottom in
Lift your chest and ribs
Tighten your stomach muscles
Slightly bend your knees
Keep your feet slightly apart
   
   Your posture when you sit

   Sit up straight on a chair that supports your back well. Use a pillow if necessary to further support your back.   



Getting Up
Roll onto your side and use your arms to help push yourself up. This will help protect back and abdominal muscles.

Picking Up Objects


Regular Exercise
Regular and gentle exercise is a good idea, as long as your pregnancy (or previous ones) are uncomplicated. Exercise helps promote good posture, tone and strengthen muscles in areas that are under stress (particularly your back, abdomen and pelvis). It also improves blood circulation and helps you feel better emotionally.

Walking or swimming are good exercises when you are pregnant. Do some stretching before you start, and eat some food containing carbohydrate an hour before you exercise.
Avoid strenuous activity or sports involving sudden movements, particularly in the later months of your pregnancy.

Here are some simple exercises (that you should discuss with your doctor before starting). You can also check out antenatal exercise classes available at some hospitals.

Exercises for Your Back


Back strengthening
Lie on your back with your knees slightly bent. Keep your feet together and flat on the floor. Slip your hand under the hollow of your back and press your spine against the floor with your stomach muscles until your back is flat. Hold for 4-5 seconds. Relax and repeat 5-10 times.

The cat
Kneel with your hands on the floor in front of you, shoulder-width apart. Push your head down and arch your back gently. Feel the stretch from your neck to the base of your spine. Relax your back and raise your head. Repeat 1-2 times



Exercises for your breast muscles
Keeping your back straight, sit cross-legged on the floor. Grasp both forearms with the opposite hand in front of your chest. Take a deep breath and breathe out slowly. Breathe in again, and while holding you r breath, push your shoulders and ribcage down.

In this position, tip your chin gently on to your chest and slide each wrist towards your elbows 10 times. Lift your head and breathe out slowly. Repeat this 1-2 times.



Exercise for your abdomen
Lie on your back with your knees bent and apart (about hip width). Keep your feet flat on the floor. Place your arms out from your body. Press your spine against the floor until your back is flat. While keeping your back flat against the floor, slowly straighten your legs. Once your back begins to arch, bend your knees and repeat the exercise.

Exercise for your back, thigh and pelvic muscles
Squat down with your feet turned out slightly. Your heels should be flat on the floor and your back straight. Press your elbows against your thighs to stretch your thigh muscles. Stay in this position as long as it is comfortable.




You can use a chair to help support you as you squat. If you find it difficult in keeping your feet flat on the floor, place a folded blanket under your heels.
