He's not turning into a gun because it doesn't seem plausible. Usually described as, "it would be like Darth Vader transforming into his own lightsaber." Reportedly, he is supposed to be turning into a stealth bomber jet.

Producers couldn't get rights from VW to use a Beetle so he was changed to a Camaro.

Also, Bay supposedly changed Bumblebee to a Camaro to avoid comparisons to Herbie the Love Bug.

No.

The source of this error is Shia LaBeouf, who stated it in several interviews. He had confused Transformers with another Paramount/DreamWorks movie he stars in, Disturbia - that was originally rated R and then re-rated PG-13 on appeal.

As of April, Transformers has not been given any rating. In fact, when this error was originally reported in March 2007, the movie had not even been submitted to the MPAA.

The slogan for the movie "Their War. Our World", was the original slogan for the movie AVP: Alien vs. Predator (2004), but at the last minute it was switched to "Whoever wins...we lose."

For the original television series and full-length animated movie in the mid 1980's, the iconic Transformer characters Megatron and Optimus Prime were voiced by Frank Welker (Megatron) and Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime). For this film, Peter Cullen reprises his character voice as Optimus Prime. Frank Welker was replaced by Hugo Weaving.

In the Teaser Trailer, the base that was attacked was referred to being in "Takara". Takara is the distributor of Transformers toys in Japan.

Stan Bush is composing a song for this film. He also composed the songs "Dare" and "The Touch" for The Transformers: The Movie (1986).

The character of Arcee was included in the script, but poor fan reaction caused her to be cut out and replaced with Ironhide.

yg kartun astro ria pun best gak... tapi takleh lawan yg tv2 dia punya jam 4.ptg hari ahad... kira latestlah dibandingkan ngan astro, gambar pun lagi lawa...!!!!
