Australia says five aircraft spotted multiple objects during Friday's search for MH370



FIVE aircraft spotted multiple objects of various colours during Friday's hunt for Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, as search operations were shifted to a new site west of Perth based on "the latest credible lead".

The Australian Maritime Security Authority (AMSA), which is coordinating the multi-nation search, said photographic images of the objects will be assessed overnight.

"The objects cannot be verified or discounted as being from MH370 until they are relocated and recovered by ships,'' it said in a statement on Friday night.

A Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) P3 Orion reported sighting a number of objects white or light in colour and a fishing buoy, according to the statement.

A Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) P3 Orion relocated the objects detected by the RNZAF Orion and also reported it had seen two blue/grey rectangular objects floating in the ocean.

A second RAAF P3 Orion spotted objects of various colours in a separate part of the search area about 546 kilometres away.

AMSA said a total of 10 planes searched an area of 256,000 sq km in the southern corridor on Friday. It expected weather conditions to be "reasonable for searching" on Saturday.

The maritime authority has tasked Chinese Maritime Administration patrol ship, Haixun 01, which is in the search area, to relocate the objects on Saturday.

Friday's search area was shifted north after international air crash investigators in Malaysia provided the "latest credible lead available", said AMSA.

The new search area is in a region with relatively calmer conditions.

Murdoch University's professor of marine science Lynnath Beckley told The Straits Times: "It's still a long way to fly, but the waves are lower and the search area is now out of the 'roaring forties'."

The area where the search was previously centered is notorious for its windy conditions and high swell, which makes the search particularly difficult.

If the search party had remained in the search area, it would have had to contend with wind speed of above 20 knots for most of the day, as well as waves of between three and four metres.

Sebelum mencari salah TUDM fikir perkara ni.. Walaupun TUDM kesan pesawat tersebut menggunakan radar. Kita harus ingat... pada awalnya tiada siapa antara kita yang boleh confirmkan bahawa pesawat di rampas. DCA tidak penah akui pesawat di rampas dan DCA dipercayai tidak memaklumkan kepada TUDM serta merta pada pukul 1.07am bahawa pesawat itu bermasalah. DCA cuma inform pada sebelah paginya bahwa pesawat itu HILANG.

Sebaik sahaja pesawat itu berpusing, TUDM tidak bertindak kerana MH370 berpusing di luar wilayah malaysia. Kemudian MH370 memasuki koridor laluan udara awam didalam wilayah thailand. Pesawat tidak melakukan aksi luar biasa dan tidak menimbulkan sebarang curiga.

Kita kena faham ni semua berlaku dalam selang masa 1.07 - 3.00 pagi. Selagi DCA tidak maklumkan bahawa pesawat itu tidak bermasalah selagi itu TUDM hanya pantau sahaja menggunakan radar.

KORANG HARUS FAHAM West Southwest to waypoint VAMPI (68 nautical miles East Northeast of Lhokseumawe, Indonesia), then Northeast to waypoint GIVAL (69 nautical miles South Southwest of Phuket International Airport) before tracking Northwest towards waypoint IGREX (100 nautical miles East Southeast of Car Nicobar airport on India’s Nicobar Islands),.. hanya lalu sekejap sahaja didalam wilayah malaysia.

Ini adalah masalah koordinasi antara DCA dan TUDM. TIADA ISU TUDM TAK MAMPU PERTAHANKAN RUANG UDARA MALAYSIA ATAU TIDAK.

Guna akal cuba fahami time line tu.

Pesawat India Dipercayai Terlibat SAR MH370 Terhempas

C-130J Hercules

NEW DELHI: Sebuah pesawat kargo C-130J Hercules yang membawa lima anak kapal terhempas pada Jumaat di tengah India, kata seorang jurucakap Tentera Udara.

Kapten kumpulan, Gerard Galway berkata, Tentera Udara sedang melakukan proses pencarian lokasi kemalangan yang berlaku di pinggir Gwalior di Madhya Pradesh.

“Operasi menyelamat sedang dijalankan. Kami cuba untuk mengetahui keadaan mangsa,” katanya kepada AFP.

Walau bagaimanapun, rangkaian berita NDTV India berkata, semua anak kapal yang berada di atas pesawat itu meninggal dunia dalam kemalangan tersebut.

Pesawat itu dalam penerbangan rutin dan berlepas dari sebuah pangkalan udara di bandar pelancongan di Agra.

Pesawat operasi khas berkenaan dilaporkan pernah digunakan semasa operasi mencari dan menyelamat (SAR) pesawat Penerbangan Malaysia (MAS) MH370 baru-baru ini.

Ia juga digunakan dalam operasi bantuan banjir di Uttarakhand dan bagi tujuan pendaratan Daulat Beg Oldie berhampiran sempadan China, kata NDTV.-Mstar.
