Position: Mechanical Engineer
Field: Petrochem
Brief workscope: Involve in plant project implementation i.e cost estimation, preparing engineering documentation for project proposal submission and construction bidding, interpret and prepare mechanical and/or engineering drawing, perform welding and quality control during the fabrication, construction of piping work and mechanical equipment & package.
Salary: Moderate

Offer 2
Position: Inspection & Processing Engineer
Field: Oil & gas (Offshore)
Brief workscope: Perform undewater pipeline and platform inspection
Salary: High

Offer 3
Position: Mechanical Engineer
Field: Oil & gas (yard)
Brief workscope: Involve in newbuild & repair of mechanical equipments for Jack up rigs & semi-sub (production).
Salary: High

Pendapat saya (with limited input i hv);
Offer 1: Experience wise bgus becos involve in everything from prep specs, drawing, fabrication, installation, commisioning, endorsement with local authorities etc..
sy rasa yg maybe sy akn tolak sbb it's in petrochem n gaji moderate shj (1.5x gaji skrg)..

Offer 2: Sy sgt berminat dgn keje ni..cuma sy agk risau let say after 3-4years keje ni apa yg sy blh jadi lps tu? sy blh keje shore blk ke x? gaji wise, basic lg rendah dr basic gaji keje skrg, tp campur elaun offshore bleh jadi 2.5x gaji skrg.

Offer 3: Pun minat jgk  tp sy takut after join sy mmg kne keje @ yard je..xsure bleh join company2 kat kl blk ke x..apa yg sy bleh jadi lps ni? gaji 2x gaji skrg.

So skrg sy xsure to go for offer 2 or 3..yg plg saya concern is yg mana satu hv the best prospect and highest value in future..dua2 keje in oversea so sy plan max sy akn stay for the job is 2yrs, then sy nk keje based kat kl blk..So xsure nk accept yg mana..hrp dpt pandangan & info senior2 utk bantu pertimbangan sy..

tq tajul for yr reply..
cuma my concern on no.2 tu sng ke nk cari next keje sbb scope considered very specialised ady..mcm xbyk je company yg buat bende ni (maybe sy salah)..tp being specialised also create higher demand..higher demand generate higher offer/income..
on the other hand no.3 tu wider scope n more general so in my opinion more easier nk pegi mana2..tp being wider scope lbh byk bende kne cover and to be good at in order to obtain higher offer/income in future..

hehehe...dr pengalaman aku....setiap kali aku berubah company aku terpaksa clear all the "SHIT" yang dieorg dah tinggal merata2....jadi oleh sebab itu...aku rasa amat berbaloi jika aku akan amek yang the highest rate...ahahhaha...giler duit kan aku..ekeke..tp betol ckp aku....kalo ko mengisi kekosongan sebab org tuh resigned mmg byk tahi yang tinggal...
