Wenger Taking FA Cup "Very Seriously" With Arsenal

The Gunners boss has revealed that, despite rotating his line-up, he is treating the grand old competition with the utmost respect.

"Tolong ler Prof..dengan team sekarang..dapat satu tropi pun jadi ler.."

Arsenal are expected to ring the changes when they travel to face Cardiff City in the fourth round of the FA Cup this weekend, but supporters shouldn't see that as an indication that the club aren't interested in winning the competition.

Wenger insists that the trophy is definitely one that he remains eager to win, telling reporters earlier: "We have won the FA Cup four times and been in the final five times since I have been here, but not since 2005, so we want to get back to that and do well this year."
Wenger faced criticism last season when a his heavily altered team were thrashed 4-0 by Manchester United at a similar stage of the competition. However, he seems to be taking things much more seriously in a season in which Arsenal don't look especially serious contenders for either the league title or the Champions League.

"It's true that sometimes later in the season the FA Cup can congest with the Champions League if you go through in both," added the Frenchamn. "But we are not in that position yet so we will take it very seriously."
Meanwhile, Wenger will be without Gael Clichy, who is suspended , for the trip to South Wales, whilst Aaron Ramsey could be in line for a start against his former club, with whom he reached an FA Cup final last season. Nicklas Bendtner and Carlos Vela are also expected to feature in the Gunners' line-up.
