Anil Kapoor, one of the top ten heroes of the Bolly wood, was born on the eve of the XMAS ie 24 Dec. Anil's family consists of his dad and mom, his two brothers - Boney Kapoor the producer Sanjay Kapoor who is also an actor and one sis who lives in Delhi. However, the family somehow belongs to the KAPOOR dynasty as Raj Kapoor and Anil's dad Prithviraj Kapoor are cousins in relation.

As for the debut in Bollywood, Anil's first movie was "Woh Saat Din". His films "Andhar Baahar", "Maashal" and Shakti" did pretty well at the box office as ANIL co-starred with Dilip Kumar, Jackie Shroff and Amitabh Bachchan respectively. Anil actually got a chance to prove his skill when SUBHASH GHAI, one of the Hollywood's pride, offered him "Karma" in which ANIL's performance won the applause of the industry as well as in "Ram Lakhan" in which he could dance stunningly to the tunes.

Though Anil's first phase in filmi world is a combination of hits and flops, the way he later could get the attention and attraction and the way he withstood the unmatching competition in the industry thus becoming one of the top ten, was always outstanding.

In 1989, Tezaab did all the magic for Anil Kapoor in which his "Munna" characterisation has got all the praise instantly shooting him right on to the top place. "Mr. India", "Lamhe" and "Laadla" with Sri Devi hit the box office and "Tezaab", "Ram Lakhan", "Parinda" and "Kishan Kanaiah" with Madhuri Dixit could bring the best out of him successfully. YASH CHOPRA's "Lamhe" projected Anil in two dimensional romance with Sri Devi. In ,"1942 LOVE STORY", Anil plays a very much diplomatic role with Manisha Koirala.

Subhash Ghai's "Taal" Starring Anil Kapoor, Akshay Khanna and Aishwarya Roy is a Mega Musical hit, as well as "PriyaDarshan's" "Hum Aapke Dil Me Rehate Hain" starring Anil and Kajol is a musical hit and later Anil's - "Mann" - was a super hit and did well at the box office.

Today, Anil Kapoor enjoys the hi-fi stage as far as his filmi career is concerned but throughout he worked hard to achieve this place that he is nowin and his VIRAASAT won him VIDEOCON SCREEN award in the best actor category in '97. Anil's award gallery includes Best Supporting Actor for "Maashal" in '84, Best Actor for "Mr. India" in '88, "Tezaab" in '89, "Beta" in '93 from FILMFARE, and "Viraasat" in '97 from VIDEOCON and SCREEN. Anil's got two daughters Sonam and Rhea and Harshavardhan , the heir to the Kapoor dynasty.

Bobby Deol was born on Jan. 27, 1967 with original name Vijay Singh Deol . Father is Dharmendra , older brother Sunny are popular bollywood stars. He has the advantage of a 'filmi' background so he didn't have to struggle too much. This 6 feet and 1 inch , Long haired guy, does only solo hero projects, unlike the other stars of his generation. One thing you must admit for Bobby Deol-he's improved with each outing at the turnstiles. He was dating Puja Bhatt before he married Tanya.

Chandrachur Singh, the doe-eyed actor was born on 11th Oct '68. It's a phenomenon that after six years of unhappy existence in Bollywood and after taking a decision of going back was he taken aback to get an opportunity in a project that had given him a break and a chance to prove himself again.

In fact, the film industry is just one destination for him but it didn't embrace him for six years in spite of all the sweat he put in and that's the reason behind his decision to quit the WOOD and go to his old profession to teach music when ABCL approached him with a project which he readily grabbed as he was looking for one. The movie "Tere Mere Sapne" offered by ABCL in which he was an NRI was enough to prove himself and it was a superb hit at the box office.

Later - he was known as Chandrachur 'Maachis' Singh in Bollywood as his next movie 'Maachis' won him all the glory he was overwhelmed with and in a night he was the craze of girls. He won VIDEOCON SCREEN and FILMFARE awards for the display of his performance in 'MAACHIS' that boosted up his morale to act and survive in the field.

Singh co-acted with the best actors and actresses in Bollywood to date. Though his movie 'Sil Sila Hain Pyar Ka' with Karishma Kapoor was an average, he had a lot in that film to exhibit his acting capabilities. And he wasn't stern for the loss of six years in the industry nor was he looking for excuses but he fought back to get a place in the tough competition of Bollywood and now he's still there to give the best and prove himself time n again.

Fardeen Khan, was born on March 8, 1974 to superstar actor, director Feroz Khan and Sundari Khan . He is a typical Pisces. Stubborn yet caring, affectionate and very hard working. He entered films in 1998 with a home production, directed by father Feroz Khan "Prem Aggan".

It is true that Fardeen Khan is the best looking bloke in, well, Bollywood. Natural dancer and mass hero, Govinda. Chi Chi, as he is popularly known, was brought up in a middle class family. He grew up in Virar, a suburb of Mumbai. He started his film career with illzam but was recognized as an good actor in Hathya. He began to do comic roles since his movie Aankhein. Almost all the movies that he teamed up with director David Dhawan were box-office hits.

Hrithik Roshan, the new comer into the Bollywood and The Heart Throb of the girls around India is born to the gentleman actor-director of the Bollywood, Rakesh Roshan.

Hrithik Roshan first movie "Kaho Na.. Pyar Hain" produced and directed by his dad is still doing all the magic for the new comer and the movie is a superb hit at the box office making the girls go crazy about him and all the movie-goers, of course. In one night, the boy who was an unknown personality to the Bollywood had to taste the aroma of the hit and is undoubtedly going to be a run for the stars who are already established there in the field. Inspite of all the glory that his first ever movie "Kaho Na.. Pyar Hain" won him, Hrithik tends to be as normal as he's used to be, keeps his cool and the way he talks about the life after the grand run of his movie makes one spell-bound. The shoot out on his dad which is the dropout of the grand run of his movie had him announce his decision to quit the Bollywood which he loved a lot. Though the hit was a dream come true, the attack on his dad was a nightmare making Hrithik think that the world is crazy. He just couldn't digest and get over the fact that he happened to be on the threshold of losing his dad who means so much to him and that had given him sleepless nights.

But Hrithik Roshan is back in "FIZA".

"FIZA" is one of the few films he signed long time before the release of his first movie "Kaho Na.. Pyar Hain". Hrithik Roshan plays a boy of 14 years in "FIZA" which is quite contrary to the two roles he had in his first movie. The expectations are as high as the sky but the actor who is the heart throb of the Bollywood today is unmoved by the media's hype about him. Hrithik Roshan, with all the greatest qualities in him - has got his own speciality differing from all other stars or actors in the Bollywood.

Salman Khan, born 27 Dec.'65, is one of the Bollywood's highly popular stars in Tinsel Ville, who, at 5'7" looks charmingly handsome and who actually comes from a family that already has acquintance of the industry with his father Salim Khan songs and script-writing the films for years.

Salman Khan, who is called "Salu" at home, is the eldest of three sons in the family with the younger bro "Arbazz" and the youngest bro "Sohail" in the departments of action and direction of films in the industry, respectively.

Though Salman Khan had a low profile after his first appearence in "Biwi Ho To Aisi", he, successfully, managed to get the attention of a few top class directors and in the way got a big break through Sooraj Barjatya's blockbustser movie "MAINE PYAR KIYA" which broke all kinds of records and at the box office - giving the transformation to him from a low profile category to the high profile in one night. The movie "Maine Pyar Kiya" was given a lot of praise in the industry doing a whole lot of good things for everyone in the movie and to top it all, was given the consideration as SHOLAY - II.

Comes another hit "Patthar Ke Pool" with Raveena Tandon but he was suddenly under the clouds of shadow as a few films of his had flopped and failed at the box office and again Raj Shree comes to his rescue giving him a chance in HUM AAPKE HAIN KOUN. Later on, there was no looking back for him as he has risen to the stardom and the life in the industry has been a walk on the bed of roses.

Afterwards, he signed two movies of his director-brother Sohail - namely, "Auzaar" and "Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya.."

He has taken the graduation when he got the FILM FARE's "Best Supporting Actor" for his role in "Kuch Kuch Hota Hain" which shows his maturity as an actor and his roles in "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam" and "Jaanam Samjha Karo" are worth of appreciation.

Since "Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge" and "Chal Mera Bhai" did pretty well at the box office, all eyes of the industry are set on his new release "Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega" which is so unfortunately not faring upto the expectation. No doubt, Salman Khan is one of the best actors the industry has ever produced. He is one of the Bollywood's great actors.

Sharukh Khan, the NO 1 hero and actor in the Bollywood today, was born on 2 Nov 1965 in New Delhi. He did his schooling in "ST. Columbia High School" - New Delhi, graduated from "Hansraj College" and then did his Post Graduation in "Mass Communications" from "Jamiya Miliya Islamiya" - Delhi.

The debut of the Khan in to the Bollywood was a phenomena. He had no godfather, no love story for him to begin with but quite amazingly a negative characterisation which he had to check himself with. Might be - who knows he opted for that but what an exhibition of a skill! It's not just one skill he actually posessed - but an ocean of skills. An all round capacity and versatility of skills.

Sharukh Khan, flying hi fi with his anti-hero appearence in "Baazigar" and "Deewana", has triggered alarming waves in the Bolywood of the birth of a new actor who's obviously going to challenge the very existence of the stars who are already there vying for the top place . And in "Darr", it happend. With these three films being swashbuckling hits at the box office, there was no doubt that Sharukh Khan was going to take over because these films brought the best acting capabilities out of him as well as his other extraordinary skills like - speech, looks of fierce and noble actor and an amount of immeasurable energetic strength coupled with the height of self estimation which put all the producers and directors on their feet to get after him. Sunil Shetty, the LEO man, is best known for his style in thrills - the way he manhandles the villain group and executes the fights. And he's known for his gentlemanly attitude off the screen too.

Sunny Deol born to filmstar Dharmendra as Ajay Singh Deol. This 5'9" tall guy made his debut as a teenage romantic hero in Betaab. Action roles seemed to be his forte, but he also tried his hand at romantic roles in several movies.

His powerful draw at the box office...the 'dhishum dhishum' comes so naturally as does a getlemanly demeanour which attracts women in hordes. Additionally his ever youthful look is a major plus point in itself.

From romantic hero to the rebellious, unemployed angry young man out to get justice, the blockbuster Ghayal established Sunny as the action hero in Bollywood. Being on the news for being threatened to life by bicep man Salman and having an active affair with miss georgeous Aishwarya after being engaged to his girlfriend Guru Preeth on a grand occasion in the presence of few big stars and other pals of industry in Mumbai. It抯 been a short and most successful career, which took off its grand to reach to sky.
