Korean 5 Member Group BIG BANG's Major Debut Press Conference

The Korean group of five members BIG BANG, who are going to release their major debut single 'MY HEAVEN' on June 24th, appeared today in a press conference at Grand Hyatt in Roppongi, Tokyo.

Having debuted in 2006 with ages between 18-19, at the moment they are a very popular group, together with DongBangShinki. Its leader G-Dragon is in charge of writing, composing and producing, and they even have the ability to do their own choreography. Now they've arranged in Japanese the song 'MY HEAVEN', which they used to sing in Korean.

Last year they released an indies album and even had some concerts, becoming popular with the fans. Now, with this major debut, they're going to start their activities in Japan.

Except for G-Dragon (20), who had already arrived some days ago, today the other 4 members arrived at Haneda Airport. Even though it had not been publicly announced, lots of fans rushed to the airport, and when the Big Bang members appeared they cried tears of emotion.

Wearing a tuxedo, Big Bang presented 'MY HEAVEN' in today's press conference. SOL, who thinking about this debut had been studying Japanese for 8 years, said: "We know that our sempais DongBangShinKi performed at Kouhaku Uta Gassen. We want to make our best effort in order to perform in that kind of programs". After being requested to show a Bae Yong-Joon type of smile, he answered "I'm shy" and instead spread a Big Bang style smile.

On the 13th the download of the ringtone starts. On July 8th they'll release their 2nd single, and on the same day an event will take place at Yoyogi Park, in Tokyo.
