August 1996 – my family move back to Germany.
The friendship continue with emails and chatting almost every night. Sometimes he calls and we will talk through phone for a long period. Weekend we will meet and spend time together. Opss.. forget to tell, Hamann in Munich University that time and that is the reason we got a chance to meet every week.. Hehehehhe. I don’t know we can call it dating or whatever, but I really love being with him. Really enjoy his companion. We did lots of fun things. Still…. the love word never been mentioned yet.
The following year 1997
Just few weeks before summer break started he asked permission from my parents to take me to his school dinner organized by his Uni. Because it is in Munich, of course my parents have no problem to let me go. So we went. After dinner on our way home only me did the talking thing and he just listen and smile. Usually we will talk and laugh together about anything. He is not like usual that night. I keep on talking and talked and talked until we reach my house. I said my good night, thank him for invited me and when I was about to go out the car he suddenly took my hand and kissed it. Kind of weird and shocked because he never did that before and to be real, we never holding hands when we went out before. I asked him why was that for. He stares at me and our eyes locked in few seconds then he quickly looked away and said ‘I don’t know’. We keep silence for few seconds again then he said his thank you and good night and I straight inside my house with my mind still thinking why Hamann acted so weird tonight. |

After that night he didn’t appear into my life like he used to. No emails, no chats, no calls and my weekend seem so boring because he didn’t come to see me anymore. At first I thought he’s busy with his study…but its summer holiday now. I keep on waiting and waiting and waiting but when he didn’t reply all my emails then I start to wonder where this guy gone. Everyday I hoping he will call me or at least buzzing me through YM. But not a single sign of him. Where is my Hamann. Did I do something wrong that make him avoiding me…Hamann don’t do this to me…. I need you by my side again. Yes, I am missing him. Jiwa dah kacau dah ni. Hamann jahatttttttttt.
August 10, 97
Happy Birthday Hamann.
12 midnight I send email to wish him Happy Birthday.

Ahhh.. hati berbunga-bunga dapat email Hamann. Can’t wait until 3pm to see him. Why 3pm.. why not 10am, I can’t wait to see him any longer anymore. Lama tak jumpa dia…. Rindu sangat dah. But at least his email make me happy again and smile ear to ear.  |
