Didier Drogba believes that last season was a one-off for Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Chelsea striker is convinced that Manchester United抯 Portuguese winger will be unable to recapture the heights he scaled with some sensational form in 2006-07, when the Red Devils swept to the title and Ronaldo provided much of the creative inspiration and attacking cutting edge.

Ronaldo hit 23 goals last season. Despite a three-match suspension in the current campaign he already has four more to his name.

However, Drogba told The Sun: 揑 do not believe Cristiano Ronaldo has the rhythm to follow up last season抯 achievements. He is not a machine.

Chelsea offers 50M for Fernando Torres

Fernando Torres is the latest target of Roman Abramovich. According Charity has advanced Paco Garcia, director of Radio Marca, Chelsea offered 50 million euros to Liverpool for Torres, but there is no negotiation because the 'Reds' do not want to listen to any offers for their scorer.
