Mumbai: MTV, a brand name that has defined an entire generation, has now redefined itself for the 'My Generation' with a spanking new look. Apart from 5 new short-format shows, 1 new reality show, a new international VJ - Mia, reface of www.mtvindia.com and the launch of MTV's Digital Music Store, MTV also has Neeta Lulla designing the new look of the VJs. Present on the occasion were Neeta Lulla, Anusha Dandekar, Ranvijay, MTV VJs Nikhil Chinnappa, Cyrus Broacha, Cyrus Sahukar,
Mia and others. The launch was held at MTV Studio, Lower Parel on Tuesday morning.

The ban on Big B by photographers contines as non of the maisntream photographers or news agencies clicked Big B on the occasion of the Anniversary issue of Filmfare where he adorns the cover. Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan dropped in to lend support to the ace designer. A special court ended one of the longest terror trials in the world by sentencing Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt to six years rigorous imprisonment for being in possession of 'dangerous weapons' in the 1993 Mumbai bombings case.
Dutt, on whose shoulders rides about a billion rupees in investment of the Indian film industry, was sent to a cell in the Arthur Road jail, where special anti-terror TADA judge P.D. Kode had been conducting the 14-year trial into the serial blasts that had killed 257 people and injured many hundreds.

Actress Juhi Chawla's classical side came to the fore in a serious classical music performance in honour of her Guru, Pandit Pandharinath Kolhapure. The actress came an hour in advance and did her riyaz like any other pupil for her performance along with other renowned musicians including Jayashree Kamabelkar (Vocals), Vibhav Nageshkar (tabla) among others.

Mumbai: The premiere of 'The Simpson Movie' was held at PVR Juhu. Among the invitees were Soha Ali Khan who made a quick entry to catch her favourite series in motion picture but she refused to speak to the media as part of her support for the much loved Sanjay Dutt. The former Miss World turned Bollywood actress Yukta Mookhey who adores the Simspons family looked radiant and bubbly. The reclusive and media shy Siddharth from 'Rang De Basanti' was successful in a secretive entry avoiding the shutterbugs completely! Infusing a fresh lease of the life to the party was yesteryear character actress Shubha Khote accompanied by her daughter Bhavna Balsaver. Poonam Dhillon replicating the yellow colour from The Simpsons was seen in a cute yellow outfit complete with a very adorable yellow hairband.
The girlie group consisting of models that got drenched in the rain in their eagerness to get to the Simpsons were Candice Pinto, Mugdha Godse, and Vidisha Pavate were seen enjoying the movie with Nisha Harale who came to the do without her better half Adam Bedi.

Mumbai: Director Anubhav Sinha held a special screening of his latest movie 'CASH' for the Shetty family. Shilpa and Shamita were present alongwith their mom and dad. Shamita stars in the movie alongwith Ajay devgan, Esha Deol, Dia Mirza, Zayed Khan and Ritesh Deshmukh. Mumbai: PIX and Ashok Amritraj announced the launch of 'Gateway', India's first reality TV show on filmmaking. Several celebrities showed up to support the opportunity of presenting Indian directorial talent internationally.
'Gateway' will be PIX's maiden local production of a television series that will air exclusively on the channel. Starring Ashok Amritraj, 'Gateway' will cover an intensive nationwide search for India's most promising new director. The winner will be given the chance to direct a Hollywood film produced by Amritraj's company, Hyde Park Entertainment.
Launch was held at the Indigo in Colaba on Wednesday night

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan launched author Aarti Kochchar's book, 'Recipes For Success' at Crossword, Kemps Corner on sunday evening. The book is a compilation of the recipes of the favourite dishes of various achievers including Amitabh Bachchan, Mukesh Ambani, NR Narayana Murty, KV Kamath, Kapil Dev, Kiran Bedi and others. The book also covers the vision of these personalities for their respective business and for India, and also their message to the youth of India. Aarti Kochchar plans to donate the proceeds of the book, to the NGO 'Salaam Baalak', which works for less privileged children.
