Hala tuju Giggs
USIA yang semakin lanjut bakal menyaksikan bintang bola sepak Manchester United, Ryan Giggs menggantung but tidak lama lagi meskipun tarikh tepatnya belum diumumkan.
Dia sudahpun bersara di peringkat antarabangsa selepas tamat perlawanan Wales menentang Republik Czech yang berkesudahan 0-0 di Stadium Millennium pada 2007.
Penampilannya bersama United juga lebih banyak sebagai pemain gantian dan keadaan itu sudah cukup membayangkan betapa dia kini mengharungi sisa-sisa kerjaya sebagai pemain.
“Saya akan terus bermain jika saya gembira, cergas dan pengurus masih mahukan saya. Jika salah satu daripada tiga perkara itu tiada lagi, barulah saya menimbang untuk bersara.
“Tarikhnya belum tentu, mungkin boleh jadi hujung musim ini. Kontrak saya akan berakhir Mei depan, jadi kita tunggu dan lihat,” katanya. |

February fixture changes United's February fixture list has changed again with the rearrangement of the home league match against Everton and the addition of a trip to Derby County or Nottingham Forestin the FA Cup fifth round.
Wayne Rooney's former club Everton will now visit Old Trafford on Saturday 31 January at a time to be confirmed, instead of Monday 2 February. This is due to the Toffees having to replay their FA Cup tie against Liverpool on Wednesday 4February.
The change of date for Everton follows last week's postponement of the Portsmouth game.
Unitedwere originally set to host Portsmouth on Saturday 28 February but theReds will now play in the Carling Cup final that same weekend, on Sunday 1 March.
ManUtd.com will announce the new date for Portsmouth as soon as it is confirmed.
The next eight matches on United's fixture list are now as follows:
27 Jan - West Brom away (League)
31 Jan - Everton home (League)
8 Feb - West Ham away (League)
14 Feb - Derby or Nott'm Forest away (FA Cup)
17 Feb - Fulham home (League)
21 Feb - Blackburn home (League)
24 Feb - Inter Milan away (Champions Lge)
01 Mar - Tottenham (Carling Cup final) |

Fergie delight as rivals are held
ALEX FERGUSON emerged the big winner as FA Cup draws left two rivals facing a fixture nightmare.
Fergie’s Manchester United coasted past Spurs on Saturday and into a fifth-round trip to Derby or Nottingham Forest.
But Arsenal and Liverpool were both held to draws yesterday, leaving them to fit a replay into their already chaotic schedules that include vital Premier League and Champions League clashes.
After seeing his side held 0-0 by Championship Cardiff, Gunners boss Wenger admitted: “We could do without it, 100 per cent. But let’s not complain because we play football. It’s one more game to play.
"If that’s the price we have to pay to stay in the hat, we’re happy to do it.
“We are very short at the moment and cannot rotate our players much.
“I could rest a few players today but not as many as I’d wanted.
“I’d planned to take Robin van Persie off but it didn’t work out that way. At 0-0 anything can happen. But I wasn’t too worried in the second half. They created more chances in the first half.”
Liverpool chief Rafa Benitez saw his side held 1-1 by Merseyside rivals Everton for the second time in a week.
He said: “We have a lot of games coming up but we have a big squad and we can manage it.
“We have good players who can come in and when you play so many games you need that.
“I made four changes today and it was a strong team because we want to progress.
“It would be better if these games were all finished on he day, with no replays, but that’s not how it is done.”
While Wenger was groaning, Cardiff boss Dave Jones was delighted his side earned a money-spinning second crack at the Gunners.
Jones said: “We gave it a go. With a little bit more composure or luck, it might have gone for us.
“There were one or two boos in the last minute that we were keeping the ball in the corner, but we’re playing Arsenal.
“Give us a break. What we showed today is that we can match the best.
“When we were getting booed in the last couple of minutes for keeping the ball, the only one cheering on our side was the chairman.
“It will be a massive pay day for us down there next week.”
