A Father's Hope: Stem Cells to Cure “Big” D2B
3 December 2005
Since the horrific accident that put formal Popstar “Big” D2B or Panrawat Kittikorncharoen in a brain damaged state, his father revealed on Big's 23rd Birthday on 2 December that Dan and Beam along with D2B fans were over in “Samut Prakhan” to celebrate the day with Big.
When Dailynews questioned Udom Kittikorncharoen about Big's latest condition, the father revealed that he has recently spoken to Big's doctor and discovered a new “cure” for “brain damaged patients” in America.
Right now United States of America is currently under going testing for their new health miracle of “Stem Cell Rejuvenation”. This kind of treatment is said to help patient such as Big recover by rejunevating their brain cells.
If this new treatment proves to have no negative side effects, Big will be flying to America to undergo treatment.
As for the payment for this treatment, RS Promotion offered to contribute but Big's Dad said that it is okay because Big is now a patient in the care of her majesty.
“Right now I'm living with hope and if this new “stem cell” treatment turns out to be successful, I hope that Big could recover to his normal state again but I don't know how successful though this is still a hope for us”.
Udom also revealed that overall Big's condition is improving and he is recieving physiotherapy twice a day.
On a weekly basis, the fans are still visiting regularly.
