Man City vs Tottenham Player Ratings

Manchester City
Joe Hart - 7.5
Wasn't severely tested by the Tottenham attack but was reliable when called upon - particularly producing a top class save to deny a Steven Pienaar header early in the second half.

Joleon Lescott - 6.5
Good chemistry with Kompany as the pair was resolute against the pace of the Spurs attack.

Vincent Kompany - 7.5
Hardly put a foot wrong and stood firm against the Spurs' attack.

Pablo Zabaleta (Off 57') - 6.5
A valiant display from the left-back and had a bloodied nose to show for it. Was eventually replaced by Kolarov.

Micah Richards - 7
As you would expect from him - a solid and reliable performance to keep out the Spurs' attack. Also contributed to the attack with some marauding runs up the field.

Nigel De Jong - 6.5
A strangely clean game from the Dutch hardman, who went about his duties of breaking up Spurs' play.

James Milner - 6
A typical hardworking performance by the England midfielder.

Yaya Touré - 7
Stamped his authority in midfield and protected the back four.

David Silva (Off 83') - 8
Just like he has done all season, the Spaniard pulled the strings for City and was the orchestrator of his side's attack. Had a great chance to extend City's lead in the second-half but completely missed his kick.

Edin Dzeko - 7
Despite not getting on the scoresheet, the Serbian showed good touches and held the ball up well. Had an excellent chance after being played through on goal by Silva, but lacked the pace to capitalize on it.

Adam Johnson (Off 67') - 6
Was given a chance to impress Mancini and secure a starting place for the FA Cup final. But I'm afraid he failed to do so and was eventually replaced by Vierira.

Subtitutions:
Aleksandar Kolarov (On 57') - 6.5
Did well to fill in for the injured Zabaleta.

Patrick Vieira (On 67') - 6.5
Was brought on to offer extra protection for the lead. And he did just that.

Carlos Tévez (On 83') - NA

man city ni sama je macam chelsea. kaya je lebih...tapi performance kayap gak banding man utd. orang dah main piala europe...man city masih nak merangkak cari piala domestic
