Reina - 6

Was constantly in a rush to get his team down the attacking half. Not the calming influence needed by the Reds.

Carragher - 6

The most experienced of the two centre-halves but cleared the ball straight to Arshavin for Arsenal's third goal.

Agger - 5

Allowed Bendtner to get behind him and tried too hard to push forward.

Arbeloa - 6.5

His overlapping runs caused Gibbs a lot of problems along with Dirk Kuyt.

Aurelio - 5.5

Not as effective as he should have been. Curbed his forward runs many a times to deal with the marauding runs of Nasri.

Mascherano - 6

Gave the ball away to allow the Gunners to sneak in with a goal in the first-half against the run of play.

Alonso - 7

Dictated play from the middle of the park but was evenly matched by his compatriot Fabregas on the opposite end.

Riera - 6.5

His inconsistency throughout the season has cost Benitez headaches. Stunning in one game, ineffective in another.

Kuyt - 7.7

Almost impossible to mark with Benitez deploying him in a deep-lying role to support Torres. Was his usual industrious self.

Benayoun - 9

Had a string of chances and put his life on the line to get Liverpool's second goal.

Torres - 8

What can you say about this man? He has been one of the main reasons Liverpool are still in the title race.

Arsenal

Fabianski - 9

Save after save in the first 45 minutes kept Arsene Wenger's team in the game. Great future ahead of him.

Sagna - 3

Time and again, he was exposed by the Liverpool attack and started the second-half in wayward fashion with his awful clearance giving Torres a goal to level the game at 1-1.

Gibbs - 7

The player with the least experience on the field but played like a giant thwarting Kuyt and Arbeloa on many occasions.

Toure - 6.5

Like Carragher on the opposite end, never quite marshaled his young defenders well but did enough to put a smile on Sir Alex Ferguson's face.

Silvestre - 7

Did his job when called upon but Torres was too quick for the former Manchester United player.

Fabregas - 8

Held his own against Alonso and Mascherano and his telling passes made Wenger's side look better than they were.

Song - 7.5

Stood in the way of Liverpool's all-out attack with many last ditch tackles to save the day.

Denilson - 6.5

Did the dirty work alongside Song but was outshone by the Cameroonian youngster.

Nasri - 7

The Gunners stuck to their passing game even under the immense pressure from the home side and Nasri was instrumental in protecting an awful Sagna on the right.

Arshavin - 10

He was probably the Gunner with the fewest touches on the field but all he needed was four golden opportunities and he tucked them all away.

Bendtner - 7

Full of running with no end product. Not his fault though, as the visitors were pegged back for most part of the game.
