“The whole thing about waiting for the Queen to speak first is also a myth. In reality, people are so tongue-tied when the Queen approaches them but she is only a human being after all. When she breaks the ice it gives a lead-in to start people talking.”
A royal source said: “There is no protocol handbook at Buckingham Palace but people do tend to bow or curtsey to the Queen and that’s just good manners. But it’s true that no-one is obliged to do it.
“As for waiting for the Queen to speak first, there is no hard and fast rule, the Queen just wants people to feel comfortable.”

Hi Skippy. The following are the reasons on why Kate brought Pippa with her today at Wimbledon 2019, to wit:
a. Kate wants Pippa to be her Plus One;
b. BRF plan to have the sisters together;
c. Pippa wants firsthand experience on what it is like being with MM, so she can finally understand the tenacity and duty to uphold by the BRF members at all times and at all costs (HAHA);
d. BRF wants to show MM how a sister (family member) to the future Queen behaves and follows protocol regardless of blood relationship;
e. Kate wearing a green dress in reference to someone “being green with envy”;
f. And of course, trusting how the BRF works, pretty sure that MM was not aware that Kate would bring Pippa along with her;
g. Finally, MM was invisible again. People didn’t care. Haha!
