Both John Terry and Petr Cech hobbled out of Chelsea’s Champions League 0-0 draw with Atletico Madrid.
It was reported goalkeeper Petr Cech had a dislocated shoulder and John Terry’s injury also appeared to suffer a serious injury.
2nd in the league, Chelsea travel to Liverpool on Sunday, needing a win to restore any hope of a Championship winning season.
Liverpool fans were delighted to see Chelsea’s captain and star goalkeeper suffer. |

Leaked! Brand new designs of Liverpool’s proposed 60,000 Anfield stadium [Pictures]
Two new pictures have been circulated by the Daily Mail on Tuesday said to be news designs of Liverpool’s proposed 60,000 Anfield stadium.
The cost of the refurbishment of Anfield is set to cost around £150 million to facilitate a facelift of Liverpool’s world famous stadium and to increase the capacity from 45,000 to about 58,500.
According to the Mail, “Liverpool are set to apply for planning permission to Liverpool City Council before the end of the season. Work on the new stadium will be in two stages, to be completed by 2018 if all goes to schedule.”

Real Madrid ready to sell Karim Benzema to Arsenal to raise funds for a mega bid for Liverpool’s Luis Suarez [Express]
The Daily Express have printed what feels like a pie-in-the-sky article on Tuesday morning claiming that Real Madrid are looking to sign Luis Suarez from Liverpool this summer.
In an article that has all the hallmarks of click bait, the tabloid has regurgitated stories from foreign press without being able to fill in any of the crucial blanks i.e. the sums of money involved and/or any supporting quotes suggesting that the deals will actually happen.
According to Ben Jefferson:
Real Madrid are preparing to offload Karim Benzema to Arsenal in a bid to raise funds to launch a sensational move for Liverpool’s Luis Suarez.
Reports in Italy suggest that Real remain optimistic that they can persuade Suarez to swap Merseyside for Madrid despite the Uruguayan signing a new contract at Anfield earlier this season.
Juventus are thought to maintain an interest in taking Benzema to Italy but Arsenal – who were heavily linked with a move for the 26-year-old last summer – reportedly remain favourites to sign the striker.

The issue with Liverpool this season is that they set to become the highest scoring Premier League champions of all-time, whilst simultaneously becoming the champions with the most amount of goals conceded in a season ever.
Carragher noted that Liverpool have only had three 1-0 wins in the league all season, while the former Red defender seemed to enjoy talking about Liverpool’s manner of winning the league by outscoring teams rather than relying on their rearguard.
