According to the Daily Mail, fashion designer Sadie Frost and ex-husband Jude Law are getting on so well that a reconciliation could be on the cards.

An insider said: 'They seem to have come full circle. Sadie has told friends that she still loves Jude and he still loves her.


'They have already started behaving like a couple again and the next step could be getting back together.'

The pair went through an acrimonious divorce which resulted in a 6 million ($18m) settlement for Frost, 38.

But about four months after their divorce became legal, he seems to be rekindling his romance with Frost.

The source said: 'Things used to be so bad that when Jude picked up the children, he and Sadie did not even speak. But now he will often stay for a meal.'

Frost split with long-term boyfriend Jackson Scott and her most recent man David Gardner, while Law's relationship with Sienna Miller had recently gone kaput.

So, if the former couple are free and single, should we expect them to pull a Liz Taylor and Richard Burton?

'She says the old spark is back and she certainly seems to have a twinkle in her eye,' a friend told the paper.

Beaming with the glory of the National Award for his film , filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar launched his new film 'Corporate' in Mumbai recently. Aishwarya Rai may not be in his film, but the filmmaker's counting on another lucky charm will see him through...

His films are talk of the town even before they are on the floor. Just back from New Delhi , having collected his National Award for 'Page 3', director Madhur Bhandarkar launched his new film 'Corporate' in Mumbai. To give the auspicious clap for the film's mahurat shot, Bhandarkar relied on his mentor, Guru Gulsaab who performed the same duties on three of Bhandarkar's previous films -'Page 3', 'Chandni Bar' and 'Satta'. "I have always asked my guru to give the first clap of almost all my films.

He is very special to me as he predicted much before 'Chandni Bar' that I will be famous...I laughed at it then, but I believe him now, and I consider him lucky. His blessings have always been with me and I hope it's there for 'Corporate' also. I have researched this film as thoroughly as I researched in the case of 'Page 3'. And I hope it's liked by the audiences as much," says Madhur Bhandarkar. The modest Guru Gulsaab says, "Madhur is my student. He has always got an award or recognition when I have given the clap...so Madhur always calls me up for his movies. I am not saying that calling me for his films is selfish, but I do understand the busy lives of these people."

Starring Bipasha Basu and Kay Kay Menon in the lead, 'Corporate' is Bhandarkar's second film in his expose trilogy. After 'Page 3' which uncovered the double standards among the city's socialite set, Bhandarkar will bare the dirty side of the corporate sector in this new film. While Bipasha is expected to shed her glamorous, sexy image for the film, Kay Kay will opt for a more suave, sophisticated look. The sexy bong actress is very excited with her role. "This is something new, I have never been part of the corporate world and have never played this kind of a character.

I will have to work hard on my look and my mannerism which is the challenge for any actor. And working with Madhur, whose films are usually realistic is a high for me." Whereas, Kay Kay Menon, who is seen more in character roles will be portraying a tycoon kind of an image. "Every role is different, there is no conscious effort to look different but if I am true to my character, it will come across. I plan to completely get involved in my role of high flying jet setter, let's see how the audiences react to it."

Although Bhandarkar was keen to cast Aishwarya Rai as his leading lady in 'Corporate', the actress' packed schedule did not allow her to take on this project. But one lesson the filmmaker seems to have learnt from his last film is that it's the story that's really the star of any film. Of course, he's hoping his mentor will pass on some of that luck on to him once again.

Hrithik injured during shoot

Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan had a miraculous escape when he fell from a 50 ft high building to the ground while shooting for film 'Krissh' in Singapore. According to our sources, Hrithik was to jump from the building with "safety cable" tied to his leg but as the actor tried the stunt the cable broke and he came crashing down. However, the actor landed safely on a net placed below as a precautionary measure. Hrithik has slightly injured his back but would come in full form for the shoot in a couple of days, it is learnt. Hrithik has been shooting for home production 'Krissh' in Singapore for a month. The actor called up his mother Pinky Roshan and wife Suzzane to inform that he was quite safe.

Warrant issued against Sunny Deol!

A local court has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Bollywood actor Sunny Deol in a cheque-dishonour case.

The warrant issued by a Metropolitan Magistrate charges Ajay Singh Deol alias Sunny Deol under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act which deals with offence of dishonouring of cheque.

City-based Bonik Travel Agency is the complainant in the case. Deol had purchased Mumbai - London air tickets from the agency and had paid off through a cheque.

However the cheque bounced, the agency claimed adding it had written to Deol in this regard but did not get any response.

The warrant, issued on October 15, is returnable on February 14, 2006.

Actor-turned-politician Govinda, who is in the news after these days following a news channel showing video clips of Govinda hugging with underworld don, is doing a family entertainer with his family members. Yes, that is right Govinda alias Chi Chi will soon be seen with his two nephews (sister's sons) -- Vinay Anand and Krishnabhishek -- in Janmender Ahuja's forthcoming movie 'Jahan Jayeeaga Hume Payeeage'. Janmender Ahuja is the son of director Kirti Kumar who has directed films like 'Radha Ka Sangam', 'Hatya', and 'Sukh'. Janmendra is also Govinda's nephew (Brother's son).Thus, this is a comedy having Govinda's family, both facing the camera and behind it. Dr Lakan Singh is making the movie.

Preity's shopping spree

Preity Zinta who has been in the US for shooting of 'Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna' is frequently found busy in shopping there . According to the management, one day she left for shopping without informing any one. When all the other cast was present at the sets for the shooting to resume, Preity was found missing. Since nobody knew about her whereabouts, it became difficult for the director to call her back from the market . So, the management decided to spare its car for her shopping in future so that it can call her back whenever required.

After the success of Amitabh Bachchan's 'Kaun Banega Karorepati - 2' on Star Plus channel, Sanjay Dutt has agreed to do anchoring for a reality game show 'Mission Ek Crore' on Star One channel. According to the Percept Profile (Star One) , Sanjay has agreed to do the anchoring in this show. All the preparation has been done for this show and this show is likely to be as popular as 'KBC'.

Big B & Tabu's romance?

Amitabh Bachchan is 64 and still young to act in films. However, you may not expect him to romance with the younger generation, especially Tabu. But love is blind, and anybody including Big B, can fall into the love trap. How the Big B with his French cut beard and white hair will attract a huge audience can be guessed only. However, director Balkrishnan has shown this in his latest movie. Vidhu Vinod Chiopra in his film 'Eklavya' has shown the romance between Big B and the young pretty Tabu known for art films. Amitabh will play uncle to Tabu. Let's keep our fingers crossed to watch it.

Sanjay Dutt vs Amitabh Bachchan

MUMBAI: Taking a cue from Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt is all set to make his debut on the small screen with Sahara One Television's reality game show titled `Mission Ek Crore'.

"Sahara One Television, International Production House Fremantle Media, India and Dutt have come together for the first time on a mission that will make many people rich and famous," Shantonu Aditya, CEO, Sahara One said.

Speaking about `Mission Ek Crore', Sanjay Dutt said, "It is a challenging experience to be part of a show which actually instigates the participant to spend more to win rather than just have intellectual capital. It is a brilliant opportunity to be a part of such an interesting and interactive show for the first time on Television..."

The rality game show, to be aired soon, has been conceptualised by the in-house creative team of SaharaOne Television and is being co-developed and co- produced alongwith Fremantle Media, India, Aditya said in a release.

"We are delighted to have Sanjay Dutt in the show. His charisma and style will be on television for the first time. He will influence participants to splurge and come out as winners in our innovative game show," Aditya added.

BIPS DOMINATES INDUSTRY

Bollywood's dusky actress Bipasha Basu has not only maintained her status but has dominated the film industry. This is in spite of the fact that few of her recent movies have flopped, and a large number of sexy and bold girls have entered the industry. She is lucky that her pair with John Abraham has already proved a hit.She will soon be on screen in the sequel of 'Dhoom' starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai , besides her. Who dominates this movie out of Aish and Bips will decide their present status in the filmdom? However, Bips has already charmed the viewers with her songs sung in Rajiv Goswami's album where Bips is surrounded by a number of young dancers.

Another factor that has added to her position in the industry is that after the Ajay Devgan 朘ajol pair , Bips and John Abraham were invited to sit on the hot seats of the Amitabh Bachchan's popular show 'Kaun Banega crorepati'. Regarding her flops, we cannot blame her alone for this. After all, the cast in her flop movies like 'Ishq Hai Tumse', Aitbaar', 'Rakth', 'Rudraksh' and 'Madhoshi' had included other important actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt and Suniel Shetty. They are more to blame than Bips. Bips has also proved her talent by excelling her contemporaries in her movies like Sunil Darshan's 'Barsaat' where she left Priyanka Chopra behind in sex appeal. In 'No Entry' Bips has successfully performed along with senior actors like Anil Kapoor and Salman Khan. Now, she is anxiously awaiting to prove her skill in Prakash Jha's 'Apaharan' and Raj Kanwar directed 'Jawani Deewani' (starring Ayesha Takia and Vivek Oberoi).

AAMIR OUSTS ARJUN FROM 'RANG DE BASANTI'

Actor Aamir Khan is presently shooting for Rakesh Mehra's 'Rang De Basanti', but he has repeated the old story of dominating this movie as he did in his earlier 'The Rising-Mangal Pandey' by ousting some and replacing that actor by his favorite one. Aamir who is playing the historical character of Indian freedom fighter Chandrashekhar Azaad in ' Rang De Basanti , has already got Arjun Rampal ousted from it in which Arjun was acting as Bhagat Singh. Arjun is being replaced by a south India hero, it is learnt.

Besides, the movie was being made by Angad Pal and Nilesh Dadhich, but now the UTV has taken over this international movie. Thus, Aamir has completely taken over the movie in his hands. This is despite the fact that his latest 'The Rising' did only average business though the movie was expected to hit the box office as Aamir took full fours years to complete 'The Rising' . Not only this, the producers wished to sign Shah Rukh Khan also for the movie due to his international fame, but Aamir saw it that Shah Rukh's role is completely omitted. Thuis, the whole movie will now center around Aamir Khan only. Is Rakesh Mehra listening?

TWINKLE UPSET AGAIN

Twinkle Khanna gets upset every now and then with her husband actor Akshay Kumar. This time round Twinkle is cut up with Katrina Kaif vis-୶is the latter's affair with her husband during their foreign shoot of Raj Kanwar directed 'Humko Deewana Kargayee'. The change in the behavior of Akshay and Katrina after their return from the overseas shoot has made Twinkle suspicious of thick relations with Kaif . Twinkle doesn't want to take any chance. She has been keen on keeping her husband tied to herself since her marriage with Akshay.

Earlier too, she was perturbed with reports of her husband coming closer to Priyanka Chopra following the Akshay-Priyanka reel pair giving several hits in Bollywood. At that juncture, Akshay had announced not to pair with Priyanka any more to avoid any misunderstanding with his wife. Another reason for upsetting Twinkle is the press reports that Katrina had kept mum when she was asked about the pleasure of shopping with Akshay. Will Akshay make another announcement of not pairing with Kaif in movies in future as he did earlier in the case of Priyanka or will Twinkle learn to live with her husband known for his khiladi role is a million dollar question?

Bollywood icon Aishwarya Rai has set the screen on fire for years -- and now firecracker makers are endorsing that as well.

Rai, former Miss World and Indian cinema's most prominent face across the world, is the most prominent cover girl on firecracker boxes as India gears up for Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights celebrating the victory of good over evil, which falls this year on Nov. 1.

"She is so popular that people reject the same product in another package even with a discount," Minesh Mehta, joint secretary of the fireworks makers of Mumbai, formerly Bombay, and Thane cities in western India, was quoted as saying by the Hindustan Times newspaper.

Rai is a superstar in India. She has made more than 30 movies and has served on the Cannes Film Festival jury.

Millions of people, including children and adults, have started bursting firecrackers in the run-up to the festival, which is celebrated by Indians of most religions.

Bollywood faces are a big draw on the product wrappings, but some current and former Hollywood heartthrobs -- such as Marilyn Monroe and Kate Winslet -- are also endorsing Indian firecrackers.

"Not just Bollywood stars, but also cartoon characters like Lion King, Bugs Bunny and Mickey Mouse can be seen on cracker packets," Altaf Dawoodani, organizer of a fireworks sale in Mumbai, told the newspaper.

All such endorsement are copyright violations, but the actors don't seem to mind.

URMILA SAYS 'NO' FOR ITEM NUMBERS

Director Ram Gopal Verma's discovery and her first favorite Urmila Matondkar who introduced a new wave of item numbers in Hindi films is fed up now with her image of a dancer in the past. Like many others, Urmila wants to shift to what the industry calls a meaningful films, serious cinema or art movies. She is very proud of her latest movie 'Tehzeeb' produced by Khalid Mohamed, a film journalist-turned-filmmaker. The angry daughter questions her mother in 'Tehzeeb', and claims herself to be a modern girl. Maybe this movie has inspired her to shift from the dancing role to that of an artistic one. She says she has played all kinds of roles and wants these to be left for other colleagues. Though she admits that there is no dream role yet for her, she would like to act in movies, which are women-oriented or deal with the issues facing women.

We came across a recent incident. A reputed producer came to see Urmila at her house and admired her performance during the past few years. This did hearten Urmila who entertained her visitor profusely. But the producer then offered to her a role in his forthcoming movie. No sooner than the visitor mentioned the role, the angry actress said 'no'. She said she wouldn't do item number. But the producer pleaded that she has done such a role in her recent movie 'Tehzeeb'. This remark angered her more and Urmila retorted, "Can you make such a film? Then better do one and then come to me." This was enough of an indication for the visiting producer that Urmila would not do item numbers any more to change her present image. And why not? Most of the Bollywood actresses have been shifting to the serious cinema.

Suniel's denies 'RAAKTH' is a remake

Is Suniel Shetty's 'Raakth' inspired from Hollywood 'The Gift'? Sunil denies it and claims that the both of them are quite different. However, he admits that there is a similarity too. The story is about a girl who can peep into the feature through the tarot. Though the movie is supernatural, it has been converted into a desi film.
