i didn't made any posting in this thread for almost 1 week...
actually, i don't have anything interesting to share with u..this is my
1st posting from my office..i just started work yesterday, as a programmer..
i never imagined to work as a programmer although i'm graduated in computer
science field...because i think want to change my field when i'm work..but this is
the first job that i got, so i will take this oppurtunity to gain as much experience as i can..
first of all, congratulations for your very first job -
i wish you all the best and hope it is a stepping stone for you and you gonna improve
from time to time ...
didn't make
i have a degree in computer science (omit the 'field')
i thought about changing my field when i found a job
since this is
omit 'so'
1st day at work, i had got my project..enhance the system, they requested
many changes for this system...fuhh...sometimes i think how fortunate if i'm a client..
i can request anything on the system...without consider any problem arise..just pay for the fee...
but unfortunately i'm not them. hehehe..i'm the person who need to think how to satisfy
their requirement..i hope i can do it..
omit 'had'
(i got my first project)
which was to enhance
the client
some
i were (cuz u wud never be one - hence must use - i were)
worry about any problems
omit 'for'
i'm really fresh in this field..and my knowledge is not too much..i hope i can perform better i what i do know is keep learning..and my guru of course internet...and also my peers here...
i don't have much knowledge yet
omit 'i what'
i will keep learning
the internet
and i am sure you gonna learn a lot at your new place
and will improve from time to time --
all the best !! -

but usually i'm prefer to use the word hang out...hang out with my friends...or chill out with my friends...sound weird..heheh
i prefer hang out to chill out -
chill out also a term whereby we try to calm our friends down -
for instance --
oh come on, chill out!! - (if a friend seems too concern about things) -- |

**sorry friends if you are not understand what i write... my english very broken!
eima!
first of all, thank you for your post --
and i am glad you wanna share something with us --
i am sorry to hear about your baby --
did you mean you had a miscarriage or u had to abort the baby ?
either way, it's a loss - and i feel for ya -
just be strong okay...
second of all, i personally understand what you were trying to say
(except just wanna clarification regarding miscarriage or abortion cuz
the meaning is different)
and no need to apologize okay - you just write what's in your mind
and share 'em with us -- it is appreciated ...
let me see if we can improve some of the writing -
want to share
i had an abortion when i was 6 month pregnant
(if you had an abortion)
but if you miscarriage :
i had a miscarriage when i was 6 month pregnant

i am still learning to write in english -
eima -
you did just fine -
and keep it up okay --
just watch some tenses and
try use simple words and short sentences -

that's awesome that you write in english whenever you send text
to your friends - that's surely one of the best ways to improve your english too
anyway- you must try to avoid writing in short forms or in slang too much when
you sms your friends -
please keep contributing in here -
all the best!~ -

Thanks dexa for the correction. Need to be more careful.
i) it seems more suitable
ii) it's more suitable
I suppose both can be used correctly, right? The latter however sound more absolute and authoritative. |

when u add seems - that's when 'is' no longer needed -
that's correct - when you used 'seems' it sounds like
you didn't feel too sure about the 'problem' concerned -
therefore, it is better to omit seems when you are convinced
about your thought or feeling - |

dexa, I believe you can do it
verbal reasoning is very difficult
I think because the questions are about the USA culture
For English, this test is really tested our English proficiency
It focuses on bombastic words
quantitative and analytical reasoning are not too bad
my senior, she scores 1,600, she's very smart
Oshh... I won抰 take this exam too ... ohh no... ![](static/image/smiley/default/mad.gif) |
