Ajax’s Frank De Boer says he’s considering the offer from Tottenham, wants to emulate Rodgers at LFC
Momentum is gathering pace behind the suggestion that Ajax manager Frank De Boer is set to become the new Tottenham manager.

After weeks of mumours about the possible approach form Tottenham having seemingly lost out on Louis van Gaal to Manchester United, news surfaced on Monday that Tottenham had made a move for De Boer.
The former Dutch international is now at the peak of his managerial powers to-date having guided Ajax to a fourth successive Eredivisie title, and Spurs are sniffing about.
De Boer originally stated that he wanted to stay at Ajax on Monday, but on Tuesday, speaking to NOS, the Amsterdam boss softened his tone.
Spurs have made an approach. After the last league game I ll think about it. I’ll talk to them and listen what they have to say.
I see opportunities at Tottenham. Just as Liverpool and Newcastle, they are sleeping giants.
I want to add something to a club so that people can say that they see the hand of Frank de Boer.

Andy Gray claims Everton fans will want to lose to Man City to make sure Liverpool don’t win the league
If you look at the remaining games, its fair to say Manchester City have one banana skin left.
Everton look by far the most likely to stop Manuel Pellegrini’s side, this coming Saturday in the late kick off.
City’s final two games are at home against Aston Villa and West Ham and Liverpool supporters will be urging their great rivals on at Goodison Park.
Everton website NSNO.co.uk is running a quote from Andy Gray on TalkSPORT suggesting that the former Toffees striker and Sky Sports pundit believes there will be many hoping Roberto Martinez’s side lose this week, to stop Liverpool from winning the league.
Gray: “Peter Reid and I were talking about it last night and we think maybe Evertonians for once in their life may not be too upset if they get beat this week. The players will try and do their job the best they can but I’ve got a funny feeling many thousand Evertonians, for one week only, will not mind if they lose the game.”

Now a pundit on Al Jazeera, Gray continued: “If they [Manchester City] win at Goodison, they will win the title. I don’t think they will drop a point in their two remaining games against West Ham and Villa. I think the title rests purely on what happens at Goodison.”

English midfielder Adam Lallana is hot property right now, after featuring in the PFA Team of the Season on Sunday night.
The 25 year old Southampton graduate has caught the eye of almost every top club with consistently excellent performances.

According to the Mirror, despite being an Everton fan Lallana would prefer a move to Brendan Rodgers’s Liverpool over Man United and Chelsea.
It’s expected he will attract a fee of about £20m with Liverpool expected to double his wages to around £70,000 a week.
