Its strange that Kennkid places blame on people who are not in charge and has nothing to do with violence and absolve blame on people who are on the ground, running the place and committing terror.
How can anyone expect the muslim worl dtop grow when they do not kno whow to take responsibility for their actions?

1. The Dome of the rock is a muslim monument that was built on purpose upon the old Jewish temple as a show of disrespect by Muslims to Jews.

2. If what the author wrote about the wide ranging support of this destruction of the Dome is true, why is it still around today?

The article you cut & paste is just another Zionist ploy aimed at blinding people from the truth. The PLO in the first place is made up of not only Muslims but also Christians. If you accuse the PLO of trying to destroy the Temple Mount, then you are also accusing Palestinian Christians of the attempt.

Muslims throughout the world do not know of this so-called plan of the PLO -- not like the Christians know of the plot to destroy the Dome of The Rock. Muslims do not condone it, even if it is true, because most of the prophets of God were jews and the followers of Abraham and Moses and we respect the fact that Jerusalem is the holy site of all the three religions.
