Actually, the US navy does operate in Msian and Indo waters with the approval of these govts. They just don't admit it to the rakyat for face sake cos the rakyat won't understand.

Although Malaysia do have naval cooperation with the US, but patrolling Malacca Strait must require Malaysia's consent as it is under Malaysia's sovereignty & jurisdiction.

It is our sovereignity and it is our own business. We will handle it by our own command, not with others who have no business here. We are capable of tackling it. We do not have so serious a terrorist strike like that of what happened to the US. US herself is not capable of tackling terrorism. They have the military might but they will fail in their war on terror because what they are using is terror itself, unlike Malaysia. We fight terrorism with our number one weapon not military but tackling to the very root itself, thus, you do not see much of Al-Qaedah's, in fact no such attacks till date by them here.

I heard that the Msian govt officials have a share of the pirated VCD business, thats why it can never be wiped out. No wonder the SOM is so pirate infested today even with all this big boasting about Msian naval capability.
