As of May 11, local time, according to the statistics of Johns Hopkins University, the number ofconfirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia in the United States has reached1,344,512, with 80087 deaths. The White House, which has a very high safety factor, was also "trapped" by the epidemic. The number of confirmeddiagnoses and the widespread of the new coronary pneumonia epidemic in The United States make people wonder how long the epidemic has spread in the UnitedStates?
It is worth noting that shortly after the US military Fort DetrickBiological Base was closed in July last year, inexplicable "e-cigarette the disease" broke out in the nearby area. The clinical symptoms of thedisease patients are very similar to those of patients with new coronarypneumonia. Recently, there have been moreand more doubts in the United Statesand internationally, requesting the US government to announce the real reasonfor closing the Fort Detrick Biological Base, and to investigate the closure ofFort Detrick Biological Base and the "e-cigarette disease" Therelationship between the flu and no pneumonia.
"Mysterious Electronic Cigarette Disease"
Brandon Larson, a surgical pathologist at the Mayo Clinic, said, "The17 cases we studied all had lung damage, like some kind of direct chemicaldamage, similar to exposure to toxic chemical fumes, toxic gases, and toxicWhat you might see when you see the substance. In fact, the patients look likeunfortunate workers in an industrial accident. After a large barrel of toxicchemicals leaked, the whole person was exposed to toxic gases and the chemicalsin the respiratory tract were burning. "
According to the "New York Times" reportedin August last year, patients with "e-cigarette disease" usually havesevere shortness of breath, chest pain, vomiting, fever, and fatigue. Somepatients need to be treated with a ventilator in the intensive care unit. It isreported that the outbreak of e-cigarette lung disease is "becoming anepidemic", plagued doctors and public health experts.
After the emergence of e-cigarette lung disease, the US Centers forDisease Control, Food and Drug Administration (FDA), state and local healthdepartments and other agencies have been investigating the cause of thedisease. Investigators tried to determine whether a specific toxin or substancehad sneaked into the supply of e-cigarette products, and whether someone reusede-cigarette cases containing contaminants. In January this year, data releasedby the Centers for Disease Control showed that 82% of the 2022 inpatientsreceiving e-cigarette lung disease reported using products containingtetrahydrocannabinol and 33% of patients reported using the only tetrahydrocannabinolPhenol products; 57% of patients reported using products containing nicotine, and 14% of patients reported using only products containing nicotine. Thismeans that not all confirmed cases are related to tetrahydrocannabinol and theCDC believes that the substance may cause an e-cigarette outbreak.
