One morning, External Medicine Su Yi Hua came to work,
The Hospital was unusually strict, as he enters the place is packed with media
Taiwan? President, is about to visit his daughter Liu Xin Ping who is suffering from Leukemia.
Young and excellent Dr. Su Yi Hua, has been proven in his profession, he was praised in every aspect, his hopes were also high.
Inside the hospital, Dr. Su Yi Hua is promoted to assist and perform the surgery to Liu Xin Ping
But this simple surgery, became the start of complication and gruesome power struggle between them.

Under divinely clean white doctor's scrubs, a cloudy dust-storm secretly spreads, with undercurrent bubble up movements. Medical director Dr. Xu Da Ming (played by Zhao Zhong Min) and Surgical Department head Dr. Tang Guo Tai (played by Wu Meng Da), because of the fight for the new Hospital President post, simultaneously aimed and allowed for a once in a thousand years turning point: Highest executive leadership daughter Chen Xu Yu Yin (played by SAYA) contracted leukemia and was put into surgery in that hospital. How this place already turned into a political angle fight in surgery would occupy the best position, choosing the maximum returns, and winning both factions in a cross-bow target. Originally in human affairs advocacy holding a neutral medical institution, hospital president Xu Kai Yuan, because of involving both in the medical dispute, wanted to settle it fairly and have to turn sides towards Dr. Tang Guo Tai, wishing by means of these, he will retire clean. However, up to the last moment, who also could not anticipate the crazy moves in the politics of a car race prepared along on how to hasten his trail to the end. In these other people's conflicts, Surgeon Dr. Su Yi Hua (played by Jerry Yan) and a female anaestheosiologist Dr. Shi Guan Xin (played by Janine Zhang) merely took to make it up to other hands and Ma Qian Cu. Regardless of whether they are climbing up on top of the Bae Se Ju Ta summit, they nevertheless left the battlefield in low spirits. They love and hate, they submerged in every multitude of youth and dreams, doomed to become a voiceless sigh. The world between was echoing.

Drama in merupakan drama yg termahal sekali di Taiwan buat masa ni dan mendpt liputan yg meluas dan copyright drama ni telah dibeli oleh semua Asian countries termsk Malaysia sebelum ianya ditayangkan di Taiwan. Dalam drama ini juga Jerry Yan mendpt bayaran yg paling tinggi utk setiap episode.

Every doctor, from the time they all recite their medical oaths " As I enter the medical profesion, I solemnly swear that I will dedicate everthing to serve humanity, engage in medicine by reason of conscience and with dignity. and the patient's health becomes my most important consideration. " However, inside "Bae Se Ju Ta", power stuggles quietly take turns in the life of the drama cast...
In 1999, famous author Hou Wen Yong unloaded the huge Taiwanese doctor's halo which is envied by everybody. With almost a year to finish, "Bae Se Ju Ta" has became a top 2005 best-seller that it was then adapted into a TV serial, pursued from all sides under a string of meticulous performances of the cast from Director Cai Yue Xun.
Now returning fresh from his directoral beau to Taiwan's No. 1 best selling idol drama "Meteor Garden", is Cai Yue Xun planning on how to bring up the local Taiwanese drama to a higher level Asian drama? This act reprimanded NT$ 80 million to support, lasting to 9 months of filming, including a 30-man team of cameramen, lightsmen, art and costume designers, propsmen, moviemaking technicians, screenplay writer, and other production staff, and gathering a cast line up of famous young and veteran stars from Hong Kong and Taiwan. What kind of an idol drama craze will it create? Director Cai and the cast and crew awaited nine months, of not being shown yet , and except for Korea, its overseas copyright sales has already swept away all Asian territories. Upon seeing the earlier raw scenes, Japanese NHK Network has already discussed the TV rights with Director Cai, hoping " Bae Se Ju Ta" to become the first Taiwanese TV drama to be shown at the NHK channel, as well as curve a niche and make an impact on the Asian drama circles. Also, its powerful drama charm is like a stored old volcanic lava , just urgently waiting to erupt...
Very fine commercial drama
Speaking on putting weight to the drama's commercial value and recieving the veiwers' ratings, has always been Director Cai Yue Xun's target. He stressed that he himself would not film a high-end type of artistic drama not appreciated by the masses. With regards to "Bae Se Ju Ta," the director said, " I wish it would be very easy to watch and its commercial value must also be very high." Breaking though from his former restricted directorial style, Director Cai has high expectations for "Bae Se Ju Ta." Inside the drama scenes, viewers will no longer see any shadow of Director Cai's previous directorial style, as it dissolved and changed into an intense directorial style. It is a first degree trial to taste a kind of several solidly written narrative styles, following the very fine cut to differenciate while letting the viewers experience a withdrawn picture of life inside the hospital.
Since Director Cai took charge of filming Bae Se Ju Ta, "Camera shots became complex yet simple!" Looking at his conflicting statements is similar to the way he talked on his drectorial breakthrough. "It's complicated." Indicating that the whole thing changed into a fine grease and "simple" , he pointed out what the viewers like. Far different than Michael Crichton in "E.R." and the Japanese version of Bae Se Ju Ta, Cai Yue Xun said that when he directed Bai Se Ju Ta he didnt apply accurate medical details at all. Neither did he used a fixed "medical drama" atmosphere. It mainly lies on the human weak points and power struggle foreplay. Because of budget and tecnical limitations, Director Cai frankly said, " As far as the overseas TV rights success, we even studied how to walk in tip toes, and also watched at what they couldnt reach behind their backs."
Seeks perfection, close to severe searching
Director Cai had always grinded people with a rigid filming style. In Bai Se Ju Ta, while it may be said that it was not polite, the very first basic requirement is that the cast must follow the real medical steps. Before the shooting started, every cast recieved large amounts of medical services trainings, to reach a true-to-life medical treatment, and prevent being the laughing stock by knowledgable people . Bai Se Ju Ta cast was all required to evenly practice the medical services by heart, comprising surgical operations, surgical postures, hand-scrubbing, first aid and so on. Even Hou Wen Yong and other doctors gave a complete and long special trainings. In addition, in order to make all the scenes more fast-faced and very fine, Director Cai Yue Xun especially imported from Japan the tailor-made doctors clothes, caps, surgical gowns and gloves, surgical equipments and so on, to attempt in filming Taiwan's most beautiful group of doctors.
On the preparation of props and filming locations, Director Cai strictly required the need for an almost near-perfect degree. He actually seek his target that usually let his filming crew thoroughly injured their brains. "I felt really very bitter when I film a drama, which ordinary local TV stations is hard to accept" For Bai Se Ju Ta, Director Cai Yue Xun directed the drama crew to adopt by the "all-Asian drama" standards in preparing props and locations.
Is Director Cai actually a lot more strict? When the drama crew was prepararing the few props for the presidential suite room in the hospital, Director Cai strictly required that the intercom "must" have real electrical switch, which the former drama group was not able to borrow. He then invited an art productions group to make one. The same day, all cast arrived at the same time. But because the director was working with the props, all had to wait at the location site for the shooting to pack -up. Director Cai said, " When the a group of crew were irresponsible, I dont have enough patience to endure. " Director Cai thought that in Taiwan, all the drama crew need to undergo re-trainings.
Cai Yue Xun really feels extremely demanding. During the shooting, he met many problems in finding location sites. With the hospital location alone, Cai Yue Xun's wife Yu Xiao Hui ran to seek and paid visit all-over Taiwan to a lot of family-owned hospitals, commercial spaces, and even do-it-yourself pre-fabricated location vanues. In the process, Director Cai is thankful to Gao Xiong City where they have 3 lakes, Xin Dian and Gen Xin hospitals for help and support, especialy Zhang's Provincial Hospital which provided their surgical room free of charge and its surgical communication facilities used in the drama scenes. Also inside the institution, to the doctors and nurses who had not always charged fees for the medical trainings of the cast. Director Cai said, " We had tried many largely up-scaled hospitals and they had not agreed to lend us at all. Luckily, there are these people to help us, otherwise, Bae Se Ju Ta will just be impossible to finish. |

buku ni ditulis berdasarkan pengalaman Dr.Hou...
mula2 byk org yg sangka remake Jepun nyer drama...bel pun sangka begitu gak...
dan ni ler pertama kali bel baca yg penulis asalnya 100% terlibat dlm shooting ni malahan dia juga yg melatih dan menilai kerja para pelakon supaya ianya betul2 nampak real sampai mula2 Dr. Hou begitu x berkenan gan Jerry sbb katanya Jerry terlalu soft, young and too handsome for the role coz dia nak watak utama Dr. Su tu dibawa oleh pelakon yg berumur dlm lingkungan 30-an.. |

Agnes act as a young mom ... who's in her late pregnancy period .. unfortunately, when she gave birth ... the baby is hurt because of malpractice .. Agnes role is very devastating .. lots of crying .. as a young mother .. who can not even hold her own baby since birth ... can only see her baby thru glass window .. her husband then decide to sue the hospital ... the doctor then give up on the baby ... when they about to pull out all the tubes from the baby ... the young mother ... begging the doctor .. give her time ... to allow her ... hold her baby for the 1st time and the last time ... then something happen ...

Soap stars leap cultural borders
Recently, singer-cum-TV-actress Agnes Monica made her debut in a Taiwanese drama, starring against local heartthrob Jerry Yan, who played Dao Ming Se in Meteor Garden.
An ambitious entertainer with a tough new job, Agnes reportedly did not let her fellow Indonesians down. Despite the language problems -- primarily the difficulty she had learning Mandarin -- she found the Taiwanese crew were satisfied with her professionalism.
And apparently, she was also technically great at the soap actors' staple trick. No, not casting meaningful glances -- the other one -- crying -- with even the great Yan moved by her ability to produce crocodile tears on command.

Jerry Yan's <The Hospital> Last day of shooting
Drank as he cried emotionally for filming for 265 days
Gave Director Cai a very warm hug
CTV? <The Hospital> spent 9 months in shooting and yesterday was its last day of filming, but lead actor Jerry Yan wasn? able to attend because he needs to go to Japan, but 2 nights ago he chose to celebrate in a Spicy Hot Pot Restaurant, he hugged Director Cai and cried, filled with emotions he said: [We filmed for 265 days ei!]
Ever since, Director Cai was slow in producing his films, filled with a strong cast, <The Hospital> was never an exception, a half year of preparations and moving close to filming it for 9 months, this 25-episode series reached 80,000,000 production expenses, it? very rare for a Taiwan TV Production to incur this amount of expenses.
The forecast for <The Hospital> is for it to be finished last January, but because Director Cai is very meticulous, looking for a good location delayed the production for a half month more spending almost 2,000,000. The filming ended two days ago and the celebration went on yesterday at Dun Hua Nan Lu? [Ji Yuan] Restaurant, but with the absence of lead actor Jerry Yan.

Yesterday, Jerry was in Hua Na Mei Xiu shooting the parting scene of "The Hospital" and cried with full of emotions until he fell into the ground. With his mysterious and low profiled private life, his present manager and good friend of many years Mia has built "Hong Hou Entertainment" his wish to go to the big screen is slowly being realized.
Jerry's career is going smoothly but he still gets nervous when facing the media. Actually, he is rather constrained in private, even feels sorry and chooses to remain silent . But yesterday in the shooting of the parting scene with Janine Zhang, when Director Cai shouted "cut", he actually had plenty of collected emotions with his too much crying and painful feelings.
Jerry is a heavily private person. Last July when his contract with Fu Long expired, it was rumored that his new manager would be Liu Wei Ci, Asian movie boss Lin Jian Yue and Faye Wong's manager Chen Jia Ying and was finally rumored that he was setting up his own studio and only entrusted his career projects to MIA's "Hong Hou Entertainment" until he opens his official website www.starjerry.com in May. Jerry sacrificed his face to produce a real strong projection
Yesterday, Jerry and female lead Janine Zhang shot their break-up scene. The plot narrates that Jerry had to marry someone else, and Janine didnt let go of her first love boyfriend, led the two to burst out their feelings, not blaming on each other. But because the location site had a crowded department store entrance, and seeing Jerry stop at the their side, many passersby were calling "JERRY!!" so the staff had to hold 3 umbrellas to block him in order not to disturb the shooting.
When the shooting officially gets in, Jerry's collected emotions was released such as crying dialogues and then shouts, once crying until his face was distorted, with Janine carresing Jerry's face to comfort him and the two continued to bitterly cry. The result was of course only Take One. Director Cai had big praises for Jerry 's improving talent, Jerry accepting interviews, and asked him on how he can come up with those kind of feelings. He said, " I always think of the drama's bitter sadness and separation." Meeting her again he joked," I might no longer get good marks soon so I can cry now."
