National Level Merdeka Celebration at PAdang Merdeka Kuching

Ok.. Tahun tok all the menteris and the sultans n Agong will be joining Sarawakian celebrating Merdeka at Kuching. A parade will be held in front of Padang Merdeka. Sure kamboh! While our patriotic spirit rises high every August, on the eve of 31st August, some rotten apples will turn up around town, being drunk, perhaps maybe high on glue or drugs, going out in groups, this guys mostly teenages will start making nuisance and trouble, shouting 'merdeka' like they are out of their mind, banging on lamp post, waving their hands and flags to motorist dangerously, and some motorist particularly the mat rempits will use this occasion to show of their skills. Some even brought 'air bomb' and ignite on roads. Riding wildly with flags sticking out from their bike (the big flag, not the small ones) are always especially dangerous when in a jam and the road is crowded with drunk teenages. 2004, a guy got stab at Padang Merdeka while waiting for the countdown. If any readers have witness this kind of celebration like i'd seen, do post comments on how we could stop this unhealthy way of celebrating Merdeka to continue.

Yeah. hell yeah, those rotten apples according to you are just rubbish flocking our land. more strength and uniform bodies need to clear this 'mess'. celebrating Merdeka is not enuff by shouting and yelling; showing off your stupidity on the road! Merdeka Day is to commemorate the day we achieved our independency; not punking around.

cdak polis patut halang cdak tokdari polah kaco...jgn ngu dah count down (kot alasan beri kebebasan, after cdwn br tangkap) baru nak halau or tangkap dak tok...jangan ngu sesuatu berlaku baru nak menjalankan tugas.

Ha iya sigek perkara ku heran. Why biar dolok cdak pengacau tok buat apa cdak suka, jerit2 mabuk, terloncat2 tepi jalan mbak bendera... Cdak Rela mcm xdpt nak tindakan jak. Tapi cdak pengacau tok, mun ditegur, nak tunjuk samseng pulak... Iyalah sigik gik masalah belia Sarawak nektok, pemabuk di usia muda. Mun dah mabuk, mencuri, bergaduh, merusak harta benda.. Ari Merdeka gik ya...

nyambut jak ari merdeka tp tauk ndak kah sidak erti merdeka yg sebebenanya?

x heran la aku mun esok newspaper kuar ada berita moto pecah/ kenak curi, eksiden, kenak rogol, miak kelahi, mabok, gam, dadah etc...

tiap2 tahun kompom ada...

harap2 cdak rela dgn polis dpt memantau nemiak2 nak sik tauk reti merdeka lagi sik bertamadun yang spatutnya bersyukur ya....

Kelak jgn terkejut sidak ngembak bendera dr. negara2 lain mlm merdeka kelak. Since kamek tok diam in the heart of Kuching City, tauk benarlah. Terkaung2 jak tgh mlm di jeraya, lain gik bunyi hon motor dgn motosikal sidak. Merdeka sepatutnya celebrate on 16 September since the formation of Msia took place on that date. Tapi yalah......... malas kamek nak continue.

..asal merdeka buat sesak kat padang merdeka, cuba polah di stadium.

tahun 1994 dolok ada nemiak dua orang makei motosikal ngibar bendera malaysia tapi sik makei apa2 pakaian - telanjang bulat nya dua kedak org gila... malam merdeka banyak juak org gila keluar.
