it's an editing application for your windows registry. if you never use it, don't use it until you really know what windows registry is. windows registry contains every single information about your computer, from hardware, software all the way to user. if you make mistake while in it, your computer may not boot the next time.

aku tolong terjemahkan bg pihak oobi...secara rambang jer...

program utk mengedit reg. windows. Kalau tak biasa pakai, jgn pakai haa..sehinggalah kor faham apa itu windows reg.
win reg ni mengandungi maklumat berkenaan komputer kor dr hardware (perkakas) sampailah ke softwarenya.
Kalau silap skit jer masa guna, haaa..maut lah pc tue........lain kali tarak boleh boot maaa......Kalau dah out,
kena lah fikir cara lain nak settle, cth mcm format semula ker...(nie aku tambah)..sori oobi.......:lol

kalau kat tenet banyak pasal tweak melalui regedit ni.
kalau nak tweak ie,n software lelain,sampailah ke reboot...
nak lajukan komputer pun boleh guna regedit.
tp kena ikut tutorial betul betul n buat backup.
kang kalau boot komputer sekali skrin hitam jer jangan salahkan bill gates nyer windows suck

Create a Restore Point aje dah cukup untuk protect registry. Apa² hal revert back aje.

it depends. if it works, great. if it doesn't, user will be in a lot of trouble. microsoft restore point ni masih ada isu. also, you need to be in windows to run it unless you know how to run it in DOS. kalau user tweak registry and it requires user to reboot (even after user creates restore point), then the machine won't boot (not even to safe mode), then restore point is useless. that's why backing up registry itself is more important. it's much easier to restore it in DOS.

the best advice is, if you don't know much about registry, don't touch it.

Semua post u tu ada kebenarannya, and FYI oobi, aku tak kata apa2 pasal regedit, sebab aku tau..apa akibatnya kalau salah edit registry ni..aku hanya bagi statement 'biasa' aje kat post aku yang atas tu.

Lagipun, user yang tak boleh masuk windows dan tak tau adjust kat DOS, mereka boleh reinstall windows tanpa format.

setuju! the problem is, you're not sure what happen to other applications - whether it will work as before or it will break.

it depends on users also. for non technical user, they may not want to go this route. even for some technical savvy people, this is a hassle. for others, it doesn't matter.
