KUANTAN: A high-speed train linking Kuala Lumpur and Kuantan, the Kuantan Tower as a landmark along the banks of Kuantan River, two new international tourist towns namely Cherating and Pantai Sepat, and several new townships are among the proposals in the new draft plan for the capital town of Pahang.
In its bid to achieve city status, the draft plan which will be launched today will see many new developments in the town centre including the relocation of the state administration to its proposed site in Indera Mahkota town while its present site in Jalan Gambut will be turned into an arts and cultural centre named 揅ivic Precinct. |
