What do u expect :re: dat old man focus on d economy n rebuild of d nation, so u can't blame him d old school for not putting defense as priority but atleast he's trying, right? Compare to Pak Lah administration, which is hopeless in every aspect, i will say Mahathir a wee bit better......

sapa bikin itu propa benci Tun Det despite Tun Det lack of err bother abt national defense, i guess those head honcho in Mindef sucks big tym in order to educate our ex number one person n current number one d importance of acquiring those gadgets for d army n such.....when people dun believe, how can they see, right? n u expect old man like Tun Det to mulled abt defense.... I guess Najib is not a good PR for d military lot .....

It was one man show during Mahathir era. He's just human and cannot think for everything, as a result things that is not his priority like defence and public transport is grossly neglected while his pet projects like Proton and Putrajaya gets the dough while ministers around him become stupid and cannot think from themselves and if they do try to think they'll be charged with ISA and with sodomy .

all the sandiwara were there for a purpose. With colurful personalities and sex scandals, it was meant to make msia look more like a developed country that is part of Mahathir's vision 2020.
