we all agree and know what sadness is...but no two person have the same meaning what hapiness is...

philosophers have grappled with the issue of what makes man happy and how to lead a good life (so that we can be happy) since thousand of years ago... but until now nobody can agree what can make man happy...

mystics think that  negation of human sensual pleasures and earthly needs is the road to hapiness...but this does not prevent celibate priests and monks occassional lapse into savouring earthly delights..

although it's true that money can buy comfort it certainly can not guarranty hapiness...

how about beauty and fame??..we all know some famous and beautiful and rich people sometimes even committed suicide....

so is happiness the only god's gift that make us all equal?...irrespective of who you are, the poor, the sick, the ugly, the beautiful, the famous...all can savour happiness in equal measure?? god gives the feeling of happiness in flashes...even to the most unfortunates..

or is true  hapinness  non existent?  or is happinness just a wrong word that should not even exist much like some word does not exist in certain languages because the concept is totally alien to it's culture?? am i happy? are you happy?

Why people still in finding on what make man happy.... actually happiness is free thing.

IMO maybe...

People forget whats the real motive of their life.

Most people r full of pride n proud that lead them to think of this world as their own. Seems that they will be life forever.

Hmmm.. interesting ..

Perhaps happiness only exists because sadness exists? Like the yin and yang of things.
Could it be the only reason we humans savour happiness and appreciate happiness because there is a thing called sadness and grief?
Are human emotions defined by ourselves?

Make other people happy can make we ourself happy, what we give is what we gain , sorta like chemistry i think, glucose + 6oxigen = 6 carbon dioxide + 6 water; C6H1206 + 3O2 = 6CO2 + 6H2O,

or maybe hapiness is simply defined by some experts as an excitement of certain hormones in their body?
to me, it certainly leading to that with a basic notion that triggers our feelings first. perhaps the best way is to investigate ourselves in determining what happiness means to us...

how i wish i had lotssssssssss of money..
boleh travel all over the world..
boleh beli semua designer's stuff
duduk rumah besar with swimming pool
gi mekah buat haji and umrah
sedekah kat org2 susah...
so..in a way, can buy happiness......

Question : Can money and possessions buy happiness?
Answer: to some extent yes it can.

people's first instinct is to survive. in the past before money was introduce, all people need is roof above their head and food on the table.

These days most people have enough to survive (roof & food). Money is never enough and you own things because you need to fit in society rather than as a necessity...When people praise/respect you because you have money/possessions, you become happy inside..But is it real happiness? It differs from people to people.

I guess money and possessions cannot buy happiness but both makes the worries go away...when the worry is gone...then happiness comes..

I only believe that the only thing money and possession cannot buy is Real Love and Health. The rest always has a price.

Definitely, money can buy happiness. Even a dying person will die happily coz he has money for his funeral.

imho, hanya orang kaya saja yang layak cakap duit bukan segala-galanya dan duit tak boleh beli kebahagiaan. sebab bagi orang kaya, kebahagiaan/happiness yang dia cari dah 'naik tangga' dari orang mesken cam aku. besides, orang kaya dah rasa semua benda yang dia nak, so dia boleh suka hati dia je cakap duit tu bukan segala-galanya. cuba jadi kureng kaya tengok, boleh tak dia cakap macam tu?

macam naik kapal terbang gak la... bagi yag dah selalu naik akan cakap "ala bukan best sangat pun naik kapal terbang, pening, boring" ye lah dia selalu naik dah. Tapi bagi yang tak pernah naik it will be a very exciting experience
