aku cadang nak tambah RAM, tapi mobo aku cuma ada 2 slot je.
nk tukar ram kapasiti tinggi, tak mampu le aku. kalo ada 4 slot ram kan bagus...
so... aku pun google je la, PCI ram adapter.

In an effort to differentiate themselves from other motherboard manufacturers, Gigabyte has introduced a number of interesting add-ons for their motherboards, the most interesting of which is their $50 RAMDISK PCI card.

The card is a regular 32-bit PCI card that features four standard DIMM slots on board. The card also features a custom Gigabyte FPGA that is programmed to act as a SATA to DDR translator, which convinces the SATA controller you connect the card to that the memory you have on that card is no different than a regular SATA HDD. As long as you have memory on the card, the card will be available at POST as an actual SATA drive, with no additional drivers necessary.

A RAM disk is a software abstraction that treats a segment of random access memory (RAM) as secondary storage, a role typically filled by hard drives.

Access time may be greatly improved to files held on RAM disks compared to data held on other secondary storage. However, the volatility of RAM means that data will be lost if power is lost, e.g. when the computer is turned off. This is sometimes desirable, for example when working with a decrypted copy of an encrypted document. In many cases, the data stored on the RAM disk is only a copy of or is derived from data permanently stored elsewhere, and thus will be re-created when power is restored and the system reboots.

RAM disks can also be used to hold uncompressed programs for short periods.

aku google lagi, GiGabyte punya iRAM tu bukan utk RAM memory biasa. tapi utk guna sbagai storage.
