All About Airbag Failed To Deploy

Hyundai had the unfortunatechance to see how its brand new rear-wheel-drive Genesis Coupe performsin a real-world crash when a 2.0 Turbo slammed into the concretesurrounding of a metal pole somewhere in Korea. Despite the severity ofthe crash and as you can see in the photos that have been circulatingaround the Korean blogosphere the past few days, it appears that inthis particular car, both the driver and front passenger airbags failedto deploy.
Tobe completely fair, the Coupe's front-body structure looks like it didits job by absorbing most of the energy caused from the impact, whichis a good thing in the event of an accident. We're not aware of thedetails surrounding the crash so if any of you happen to know Koreanand you've read something about it in the news, feel free to enlightenus with a comment.
