File Sharing : Set Permission

Salam.

Macam ni, aku nak buat folder sharing. Bila buat folder sharing biasa tu memang sukses.

Tapi aku nak hanya pc-pc tertentu sahaja dalam network opis aku yang boleh sharing folder dalam pc aku ni dengan men'set'kan user permission.

Masalah aku ialah apabila aku nak set kan permission dengan menggunakan computer name, workgroup pc kawan sebelah, x boleh nak add la pulak.

Aku da cek workgroup pc kami sama.

Error : Name not found

Apa yang aku silap? Ada cadangan?

try remove sharing, pastu share kan balik folder tu, baru buat folder permission.

aku x perasan ko ada reply, neway masalah ni tetap x setel tp diselesaikan ngn cara lain..

bro, semua pc kat ofis ko yg connected in network, pakai windows apa? windows xp tak ada feature password protected sharing folder. tapi dia ada cara lain utk buat.

Password protecting a shared network folder:

    Log into Windows XP as an Administrator
    Click Start -> Control Panel -> User Accounts, then click on Guest Account and make sure it is turned on
    Now Click Start -> Run, type cmd in the entry box, and click Ok
    At the command prompt, type Net user guest password and press Enter
    Again, Click Start -> Control Panel -> User Accounts, then click on Guest Account
    Notice that you can now set a password on the Guest Account. Set a Password and restart your Computer
